We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was amazing! It was in a great setting and felt very private. We would definitely book this house again.
We enjoyed our stay in this house, however had we known what the road was to get to it on, we would've booked another location. A very narrow road, although noted it was 2-lane. If you meet someone on it, a game of chicken ensues and someone has to back down. Not enjoyable. There were many bugs and spiders in the house and the back decks had a great view with many seats, but needed cleaned a lot more than they were. Yes, it's outside in the woods and there would be leaves and dust, but this was too much that hadn't been paid attention to.
Beautiful, spacious home with fantastic views. Best of both worlds - a quiet, family retreat with plenty to do just 20 minutes away. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Simple check-out process. Would definitely book again!
Supper
This is a beautiful home nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed our time together in this spacious house with awesome views out the back door. We enjoyed roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire pit in the evening., carving pumpkins from a local farm market and hiking in the mountains.
The property was as described, check in and out was easy, home was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend!
The cabin was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view. Total relaxation!
The check in process was very challenging. We texted the number a few hours before our arrival with no response. We got to the house and waited over an hour for a response. I called the number and it said it was disconnected. After going through VRBO finally got the access code with barely any service. We have a fully registered service animal for our daughter who has a disability. Under ADA these are NOT pets and I am protected by the Housing Act and ADA federal laws. After the neighbors 3 dogs who were NOT leashed came Running onto the property the owners tried to make us leave for having our Registered Service Animal. The neighbor who I'll refer to as Karen is clearly the owners spy and after the dog incident she would not leave the property and proceeded to yell and scream at us that this is a no pet property. After I tried multiple times to explain to her that he is NOT a pet but a service animal she proceeded to yell at us and then call the owners dispite the fact that her dogs were off leash running onto the property we rented. My service animal is Fully documented and I provided all of the paper work and they still tried to make us leave. VRBO was very kind after I provided an email and protected documentation which I didn't have to disclose and let us stay. We spent the rest of the trip feeling like we were in prison. There is no yard, you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there on a ONEWAY dirt road which was NOT in the description. We almost had 2 car accidents due to the 1 way road. We rent 10 houses a year due to our travels and Have NEVER had any problems and have always received 5 out of 5 stars! It ruined our vacation!! They're lucky I haven't called ADA or the Fair Housing Act Authorities for discrimination.
We had a great stay at this place! The house is in a great location to get to many of the small towns, hiking trails, lookouts on top of mountains, places to eat and shopping. We also spent quality time at the house with family time and grilling on the deck while enjoying the amazing view. Hope to stay again in the future.
exceeded our expectations in every way! clean, nicely decorated, comfy beds, view better than the pics, private, convenient food shopping, great sunsets...we'll be back!
We stayed in this home with another couple and there was plenty of space and sleeping options. The guys really enjoyed the pool table. We also appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with lots of dishes, pots and pans. There was even grilling utensils to use with the outdoor grill and some skewers that could be used to roast marshmallows over the fire pit. The views from the back deck were great and we happened to be there as leaves were changing color and temperatures were beginning to be cooler. We only experienced a couple of issues which we addressed with the host contact to hopefully prevent the same issues with future guests. As can be typical in these types of homes, moisture can lead to mold especially on wooden furniture. While it didn’t affect the majority of our group, one of us had allergic responses so staying in the room was not possible. Thankfully there was a 3rd bedroom to move to and avoid the allergy issues. Overall we were pleased with the stay. The location was a good central spot to travel around from. It was nice and quiet. I enjoyed the experience of booking with Evolve and look forward to future opportunities.
Good view of valley from firepit and house. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and playing pool.
