Come visit us at Aspen Grove Lodge, we would love to host you and your family!
I found bugs on picture frames and walls. One person in my party got bit by a spider or some other creature on her face. A container of food was found underneath one of the beds. With moldy bread and rotten bananas and greens.
Great home. Was clean and stocked with everything we needed for the week. Quiet, remote area with easy access to town. Highly recommend for those wanting to get away.
This property was nicely decorated and big enough for two families! It is a short drive to Colorado Springs and local attractions. Just a few suggestions to owners... the windows could use some screens since the home isn't air conditioned and it would help with bugs if you want to keep the windows open. Hot tub has way too much chlorine in it. Other than that, I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from it all!!
This is a beautiful home. Clean. Comfortable beds and bedding! Plenty of space for everyone. The views are beautiful! The hot tub was great! There were also a couple inconveniences for us with this rental…there were no basics… if you are staying and cooking, you will need to get everything…. Salt, pepper, baggies, tinfoil, pan spray, etc. if it’s raining…there are no outdoor seating options under the covered porch.. I wish I would have taken a couple of lawn chairs for that reason. The downstairs kitchenette didn’t have a trash can available to use which would have been handy. I would definitely recommend others to this property. It’s a gem ?
Interaction with management was very responsive. The only complaint i have is no window screen's.
The property is roomy. We could easily have had two other couples with us. The views were great, and the amenities were wonderful as well. Enjoyed our stay.
The cabin was perfect, very clean upon check in and was impressed that the cabin was even nicer and more spacious than the pictures showed. Coffee and sunrise on the deck was a highlight. We felt very secluded but also close to town which was a nice surprise compared to some other mountain locations we have stayed. We spent a lot of time around the Colorado Springs area as we found lots to do during the days, but really enjoyed evenings on the deck and in the hot tub. Would defiantly stay here again on our next trip to the area. Great communication with host, exceed our expectations.
It was so great to wake up every morning to the beautiful mountainside setting. Our family of 11 had plenty of room and loved the house and setting. Even had a deer walk through for the kids to see. Highly recommend and may even be back.
Property was everything we could have asked for! Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation and house to stay in!
From a late request to check in early to followup with the manager Ellen upon our return home from our Family Vacation in Colorado last week i have all things positive to say! The hoke was exactly as advertised, the setting with Pikes Peak out the back deck was simply gorgeous. You csn tell this home has been there for many to make wonderful memories. Yes there were updates that were needed but the only update needed that impacted our stay was addressed professionally and in a positive manner by the management. Waking up and going to bed seeing Pikes Peak was absolutely stunning. The mule deer that came to visit almost every morning made me feel like i was in Wisconsin. Thank you for offering us a beautiful home, nice location for us to make memories with our adult children. We had 5 adults in the home and there was plenty of space for us all. Thank you for everything Ellen. You are a gem of a manager and your communication and understanding is top notch.
Had an amazing stay. Everything was as promised. The only snag was internet connection issues which if on vacation could have cared less but it was a work trip and it made online meetings and emailing problematic. Would absolutely recommend.
Home is very accommodating. Lots of room for everyone here!!
This property was fantastic. Everything we needed to get away for a few days but close enough to some mountain towns for some fun activities.
Great communication with management property was better than expected my family and I had an amazing Christmas. Thank you so much.
We had the absolute best time. This property is absolutely beautiful and clean. It is so peaceful, and the perfect base camp. There were so many things to do within 20 miles or so. We took lots of photos, but you just have to see it in person. The beauty is amazing. We enjoyed sitting in the hot top looking at the mountains. We will definitely go back. The next time I might take some canned oxygen as the altitude was a bit hard on us since at home we are at about 1300 feet.
We loved the house with the open kitchen, dining room and living spaces has well as the deck and hot tub. The hot tub was still being cleaned when we arrived and there was an air/heating issue when we arrived but both were addressed. The mattress in the bunk bed room needs replaced. Our family had an amazing time and would stay her again! The view is breathtaking and off the beaten path which we loved.
We took our family vacation at the Aspen Grove Lodge. The place is absolutely beautiful! Perfect location. We had a larger group and had lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable! Would stay there again.
Loved the remote location with views of Pike Peak - it felt like we were truly in the mountains. House was clean, the layout and amenities were perfect for our family. Check in was seamless and there were no surprises! We would stay here again when in the area!
This was a great location for our girls getaway. We loved the basement area where we could hang out after the kids went to sleep without bothering them. The views are beautiful without being too remote.
