Secluded Modern Mountain Getaway

Absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect! House was clean and had everything we needed!! Definitely recommend!!!! 5 stars!!

This was definitely one of our favorite VRBO stays so far! The pictures of the property are spot-on, but the listing doesn't even highlight all the great things included within this rental - like a fully-stocked woodshed for evening campfires and multitudes of large towels for the hot tub. It is very secluded, with properties nearby on each side, but out of sight from the house, so you feel like you have the woods all to yourselves. Inside the house is gorgeous - thoughtfully arranged, and well-maintained. The kitchen was by far the most stocked with supplies and basic pantry staples we have ever seen - there was even a pineapple corer! We were also very impressed with the cleanliness inside the home as well - it even smelled wonderful (fresh and clean!) when we arrived. The electric fireplace was delightful and made the room warm and cheery on a rainy morning. One thing of note - the listing isn't exaggerating about the steep and strenuous stairs down to the dock. It's 191 steps, some very steep, to get down there! But once you do get to the bottom, it's a wonderful dock and we spent a full day and half fishing (yes, we caught fish!!) and lounging down there. There are also two kayaks and floating chairs if you want to venture out into the water. Other things to note for the property were the wonderful hot tub and two choices of firepits - both electric and wood. We just cannot say enough about this excellent property. We hated to leave and definitely will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and well appointed, the location was everything we hoped it would be. I would absolutely consider staying here again!

5 star property!! We had the best stay and truly loved this house. The views were so peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinner on the deck, sitting by the fire bowl, kayaking in the lake and relaxing in the hot tub. Property was clean, well stocked and exactly as described. Property manager had excellent communication. Most activities in Hot Springs were about a 25-30 minute drive … was absolutely worth it and would definitely stay here again!

PERFECT! We could not have asked for a better experience. The cabin was exactly as described and the host/owner has made this place so accommodating and easy. This place was peaceful, fun, and beautiful. We saw geese, loons, woodpeckers, squirrels and even chipmunks! The view is unbelievable and the location was secluded but easily accessible.

Absolutely wonderful

The cabin itself was bougie. Very nice! Very clean. Loved the color changing fireplace. At first we didn’t like no bathroom upstairs but it became a nice way for husband to have one & wife the other. Used hot tub every night & loved it.

This is like our eighth or ninth stay at this lakehouse, and it has never disappointed.

We loved this charming spot for our weekend getaway. The house is cozy and warm They even had a Christmas tree decorated for the holidays for us!! The patio with the fire pit and hot tub, was perfect to help us relax. Of course the house has TVs, but we opted to enjoy a weekend without that distraction. Loved this house!! We will be back.

Wonderful home offering fabulous overlook views of the lake. Comfortably furnished and thoughtfully supplied with extra cookware, bedding and entertainment needed for our extended weekend stay. I appreciated the careful travel directions into the home and ease of check-in and departure. We took advantage of the hot tub overlooking the lake and both the propane fire pit on the deck and the wood-burning fire pit in the yard. Grateful for the supply of wood at the ready. Wished the weather would have been warmer to try out the provided kayaks…but perhaps next time. Will definitely consider a return visit.

This cabin is a gem! All the modern conveniences in an ideal secluded setting with a fabulous view of the lake. We most enjoyed sitting around the campfire in the evenings. The hosts are lovely, easy to reach and quick to respond. We hope to visit again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The pictures do no justice — the cabin is even more beautiful in person. We loved relaxing by the firepit in the evenings and soaking in the jacuzzi under the stars. Mornings were my favorite — waking up with a cup of tea and listening to the wildlife was pure peace.The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied with everything we needed. It’s also close to all the local attractions, which made exploring so easy. A special highlight was visiting Don’s Meat Market for an amazing steak to cook on the grill.We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway — we can’t wait to come back!

The moment we arrived, the atmosphere was what we had imagined. This house was very clean and decorated very nicely. The host, Kim, checked on us halfway through our stay to make sure we were doing ok. The one thing we had to get used to were all the hills. Where we come from in Texas, we dont have to deal with hills. The scenery was amazing and the house was very secluded and private. As mentioned in the details, the walk to and from the lake was a workout but didnt cause any issues. We would definitely recommend this location to others.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for our anniversary which we loved it so much. It was so relaxing, very clean, great view, and had all the necessities needed. Especially enjoyed the hot tub had great view. Owners were very helpful and responded right away for our questions prior to stay. Good location not far from town. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This place was just magical. Beyond peaceful and gorgeous views. The hosts really went above and beyond to think of everything you might need for your stay which made it so easy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Comfortable, clean and safe as well. Couldn't ask for a better stay.

Nice place to relax. Very accommodating for cooking outside (propane gril, open camp fireplace and propane fireplace). Very excluded place for peace and quiet. Juat want we were looking for. Only complaint is the cockroach we killed coming from the ceiling. Owner mesaaged before showing up and gave us an heads up housekeeper seen mouse dropping. And was informed they took Precautions and sprayed under the house and set traps. I informed the owner when we left we didn't see any mice just a cockroach. The response is thank you for understanding our situation setting traps must of worked.. Nothing about cockroach. Hoping and praying we didn't bring home one or more crawling creatures. I understand things like this can happens. I felt like they knew there was a problem with cockroaches. Didnt act surprise when i mentioned it. Gross.

We couldn’t have been happier with the cabin and its location! Very quiet and private, while overlooking the lake. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We had perfect weather, spending time on the deck and enjoyed the hot tub every evening after long days of exploring Hot Springs NP, Lake Catherine State Park and Garvan Woodland Gardens. Stop by the Sunshine Store and Cafe for breakfast and Lost Creek Grill for dinner, you won’t regret it!

We enjoyed our stay! We have 2 teenage daughters who loved staying at the cabin. They had the loft and hot tub to themselves for the most part. Our host also checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Beautiful home! Highly recommended!

Best vacation rental we have stayed at! The view was amazing and very private. Host thought of everything. They had everything you needed to start a fire, games, and even a speaker to use by the hot tub. The house and hot tub very clean. Perfect spot on the lake, however house is up on a hill so quite a hike to get down to the lake.

Very peaceful, very private, very nicely appointed. The host is wonderful about communicating, absolutely no hesitation about recommendations for staying here.

Beautiful place

Beautiful, clean, modern house. Giant windows for the incredible views. We spent most of our time outside on the patio by the fire or the hot tub, and down on the dock. I will say one thing, I got a workout going down all those steps 3 times but it was worth it! Would definitely recommend! :)

This was our sixth or seventh stay at this property. It is the definition of tranquility. Great place to soak in the hot tub in cold weather, or kayak or swim in the lake in the summer. A little slice of heaven. You will not regret a minute of your stay here!

We absolutely loved our time at Tree Top Cabin. I highly recommend.

The cabin is fantastic. It was gorgeously decorated for Christmas when we were there the weekend before. The owner was great with communication and very on top of things. We look forward to another visit some day.

This was a beautiful home for a fall vacation. We enjoyed the fire pit, propane fire pit, and electric indoor fire very much. Hot chocolate, s’mores, and the crisp fall air by the lake were wonderful and relaxing. The host communicated well and we had everything we needed. Hot Springs was about a 30 minute drive, but we brought most of our food so that wasn’t a problem. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. There was even Christmas decor to kick off our holiday season.

We drive up the wooded lane to the cabin that sat on a hillside overlooking the lake. We got there at dusk and the lights were on, inside and out, with a lit up Christmas tree! So welcoming! The cabin offered everything we needed and is beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub in the cold weather as we sat there looking out at the beautiful lake. This would be a wonderful place to revisit in the summertime as well. We were very impressed with the entire property and the communication with the host!

My fiance and I booked this property on short notice. We absolutely loved it. The view is amazing. Check-in was super easy. The host was very easy to communicate with during the process. The property is exactly as advertised. It’s clean, remote, and quiet. They had it nicely stocked with some basic items you need, plenty of bath towels and towels for the hot tub, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fire wood for the fire pit, etc. We 100% plan to stay here again in the future!

This place is so cute and well kept! I definitely wouldn’t recommend small children with the stairs that go to the lake. I also couldn’t get the tv to hook up to their internet so I could not log into my Amazon prime and rent a movie but other than that everything was great.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities one would need. Very quite and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake while nestled in the tree tops . Easy check in and out. Would highly recommend this cabin if looking for peace and quite while still close to many attractions.

My sister and I wanted to get away for a few days for my birthday. I found this cabin and loved the pictures. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We planned on 3 nights but requested another. The cabin was more than the pictures showed. It very secluded with the best views of the lake. Tall windows are everywhere in the front of the cabin. Decks are in different locations for your relaxation. The decorating is superb with all the amenities you need. I know it looks steep going down to the dock but it’s worth it, don’t forget your drinks and snacks because you don’t want to go back and get them. I will return next year for the fall foliage.
