Great location, about 20 minutes walk to Roche Harbor and 15 minutes drive to the ferry. The house had just what we needed for our small family. We were able to enjoy the outdoor gas grill on the covered porch, and the indoor fireplaces were nice. We loved the vaulted ceilings and the big lot size, which was very private. Occasionally deer would visit. It's a newer home. Owners were very responsive and quick to answer our questions. If you plan to use the outdoor firepit, make sure to bring firewood. Also, there seems to be a porch and a driveway camera outside but we didn't mind.
House was perfect for our family get-together. Very child-friendly and pet-friendly. Easy to walk to Roche Harbor, my son-in-law enjoyed early morning runs, and neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. Two afternoons at Roche Harbor pool were Kitchen set-up fantastic, we cooked most meals at home, and enjoyed eating meals outside, or enjoying coffee on the patio in the morning. Our four-year grandson loved roasting marshmallows at the campfire set-up, and he liked the hammock for afternoon reading. A great week for our family.
Nice and cozy had everything we need to make some meals and relax.
Very clean and comfortable for a six night stay. The space worked well for two adults and an infant, but would be tight for two couples (the second bedroom is smaller and a shared bathroom). We enjoyed the grill and outdoor seating as well as the record player! One suggestion - replace the high top bar table with a regular dining table with a bit more space (and easier for families).
This house was perfect for us. We have two small children (2 and 5) and needed a home that was large enough to accommodate all of us, but not too big to price us out. This two bedroom home is great for families. It has a full kitchen, living room, large bathroom and master bedroom. It's about a mile from Roche Harbor so it's either a nice walk (too far for us with small kids) or a very short drive. It is beautiful and we will likely be going back. Trini (the owner) is super responsive and friendly. Overall, fantastic place to stay!
The property is as described with a well stocked kitchen, dog friendly property (with water and food bowls), clean interior, and quality appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, bluetooth stereo, and tv). It's a great walk to Roche Harbor for morning donuts (about a mile each way), when the weather cooperates. The check-in was simple and the owners were easy to communicate with. We would gladly stay here again.
We loved this property. It is clean and new, well appointed and well equipped for an extended stay. Cozy and comfortable. It is away from the buzz but a quick bike ride to Roche Harbor and it’s shops and restaurants. Highly recommend and hope to be back!
The home was very clean, and in excellent condition. Plenty of room for our kids and dog to run around.
We were impressed with how quite and tucked away the property was. It is located a walking distance to Roche Harbor. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quite retreat. Trini and Kim went out of there way to instruct us throughout the process,
