Secluded 4-season cabin w/private waterfront, epic game room & mins from trails

My daughter and I really enjoyed the time at your cabin. We did have one issue that did arise. Upon checkin we noticed a slight odor, like a dead mouse. That odor continued to increase throughout our stay. We spent time looking to see if we could find the mouse but were unable to locate it. We do understand that we were not staying at the Ritz, and we were in the woods.

We had a great weekend in this cabin! Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This was our second stay at this cabin and it again was such a wonderful time! We love the adorable and comfortable cabin and fun game room! It was awesome family time for games, dinners together, movies and enjoying the beautiful winter scenery! We cannot wait to come back! The hosts are so thoughtful and welcoming!!

Beautiful, clean and well furnished place to rest and recharge. Amazing play room, house is decorated to feel like home. Lots of things for children to do. Beautiful, serene property with wonderful views and lots to do. Quiet, comfortable and just the perfect place for family and friend get togethers. Host is extremely helpful and provides an amazing guide to the house and the area.

So much to do, never a bored moment.

This cabin is even better than the pictures show! It blends north-woods charm with modern style, and was both functional and comfortable. There was a cute welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived, and the house had absolutely everything you could need. So many thoughtful details for the kids including toys, books, play structures, a trampoline, and more. The game room was a huge hit providing hours of fun with even more games than the pictures show including yard games. Our son enjoyed fishing for small panfish off the dock, and we had fun paddling the kayaks over to the bigger section of the lake (even the boathouse and everything in it was clean). The hosts provided everything we needed for campfires and s’mores, plenty of soft towels, coffee and coffee filters, a well-stocked kitchen for making meals, toiletries, nightlights, and so much more. Every detail was thought of. The area is secluded and quiet but not too far from nearby towns. We loved our stay and hope to be back again!

Our stay was excellent- the bensons were wonderful hosts. We had a personalized gift basket upon our arrival with a welcome card, the cabin was impeccable clean, the game room was an absolute hit, especially since it rained most of our stay. They thought of everything that you may need for kids and beyond. It was our first time in Hayward and we booked this on a whim-beautiful property, we are SO glad we did. We will definitely stay again, cannot recommend this enough!

We had just the first 2 nights of the Memorial Day holiday weekend available for our stay but definitely left us wishing we had one more night! The property description was spot-on accurate and the photos show everything very well. Jon and Courtney have truly thought of every to make for an enjoyable stay! If you find yourself bored, that’s on you, because there are games and water sports galore, not to mention all of the streaming services on the tv’s! If you forgot something, no worries, Jon and Courtney probably have it there for you! The price tag on this rental is a little higher than I typically like to go, but with the amenities provided and attention to detail, I can honestly say that I got what I paid for! Highly recommended!!

I just cannot say enough how wonderful this cabin is! It's so clean, everything is decorated so cute, the beds are comfy, everything you could possibly need and more! The game room was amazing and all the games/toys make it a huge family hit! 10 mins from Hayward so easy trip into town for whatever you need but also totally secluded for peace and quiet! We will definitely be back!

We saw this property and we both needing time away without distractions from stressful work environments enjoyed this beautiful cabin and fun game room that kept us young at heart. What was a relaxing weeks turned into an engagement and our memories started at this cabin… so thank you!!! Well-stocked and kid friendly. Kids sleeping loft with bathroom was the favorite for us. Peaceful views. Very large master bedroom. Nice appliances. Host very responsive to messages.

While we didn't get a chance to fully enjoy the cabin, because most of us were off racing Cheq 40 - we can't wait to get back! It was a lovely place! Clean, quiet and filled with lots of toys for the little kids and the big ones too.

Up to visit family and memories of childhood cabin summers. The stay exceeded all expectations. The hosts have thought of everything for family fun to solitude that the Wisconsin Tigar Cat flowage offers. Wonderful welcome guest basket and lovely personal card from Hosts. Both Courney and Jon extremely responsive and available during my stay. Wildlife splendid.... with wild Loons chatting on the lake in the mornings, Bull frogs, Eagles soaring, Owls hooting in early evenings, Heron family grazing on the marsh during the day and Mama doe with baby fawn coming for early morning clover breakfast. Game area even exciting solo or with family. Darts and Pac man memories for me. Not as good as back in the day however fun. Kitchen well equipped, grill wonderful. Indeed, house is all that was advertised...views out every window enhanced the experience. Highly recommend for families or couples and even solo retreat. Will be back for sure.
