What a great get away! Secluded, clean, everything needed and brand new.
Convenient access to this secluded property with beautiful trees, comfortable cottage, great walking along rolling farm land. Close to Brenham and other quaint towns.
This sweet cottage is clean and relatively new, so everything is in good working order. The instructions for arrival are clear and accurate. We enjoyed our brief stay at this pleasant, do-friendly getaway. The owner already states there is no Wi-Fi, so if you need to use your computer, you may want to bring a portable hot spot, because using the iPhone made the connection very slow. The road where this cottage is located is not paved, so my husband did not do the cycling he planned to do because of the spinning of the wheels on the rough surface and gravel/rocks. The picket fence around the house was nice for letting the dogs roam around and relax on the porches. Owner was friendly and quick to reply to communications.
Beautiful home
Great - quiet location - clean - good communication from the owner
Peaceful, quite property that was wonderful to spend a weekend away from the busy city. Small private cottage that has a great back porch for lounging and listening to nature. We were able to bring our furry friend as well which he enjoyed too. The grill was great to have for a nice dinner, but bring food with you as it’s pretty remote and about 20 min drive to anywhere. Espresso machine was a great amenity too. I would say bring a flashlight, there is a lantern there but a good flashlight came in handy and some outdoor shoes if you want to go exploring. We spent Valentines Day weekend here and would recommend it to anyone. I just wish they had a hot tub on one of the porches and then it would have been perfect. Also a note to people staying if you want to go to Brenham to see the Blue Bell Creamery they are only open M-F and not on the weekends.
We loved getting some quiet time away from the city... great property in a great area! I can only imagine how gorgeous it is in spring! Thank you for sharing your cottage!
Just what the doctor ordered! When you listen-you hear nothing-except nature. Excellent location for de-stressing and relaxing. Best part: front porch!
My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. The cabin is small but has everything you could need. The location is beautiful and the porch is perfect for viewing the local wildlife.
My husband and I had a wonderful time in this very quiet and peaceful house We'd definitely go back.
This is our second time staying here, and I can’t say enough about it. So relaxing and peaceful. I brought my 2 golden retrievers, and they love the open space to run around as well as going to the state park nearby. Natalia is so easy to work with, and her place is always clean and has a lot of kitchen items to cook with. Overall, I highly recommend for those who want a quiet, nature centered place to stay for you and your dogs. We’ll be back again soon!!
