Seaside Guest Cottage 194 Feet to Beach and 1/2 Block to Town + 2 Adult Bikes

The tiny cottage was immaculate! Adorable and perfect for us. We loved walking everywhere. Amenities were beyond our expectations. Fitness Center Access and Bikes were amazing! We would come back in a heart beat!!!!! ♥️

Reviewer Comments: This is one of several trips to Seaside, a place we love.We wanted beach, and wanted to get away from our neighborhood fireworks craziness for the weekend.But, safe to say I will never visit Seaside during 4th of July weekend again. Nuts!The chaos of teens/tweens and the police everywhere trying to babysit was disturbing. We still love Seaside, but will avoid holidays. Lesson learned.Property management staff were outstanding!!!Sunrise provided a nice place to land for a few days.Only complaint I have is the first floor bed. The space is tight and the edges of the bedframe stick out and pose a trip hazard at minimum. I hit the corner once, but managed to stay upright. My husband hit it a couple times. We really enjoyed the house! It was clean and in a great location. The house address shares with another house on the same property which confused us, but we figured it out pretty quickly. I would stay here again with my husband and two girls!

Wonderful, easy communication with management company by text before, during and after my stay. This property had a stovetop but no oven or dishwasher. That wasn’t a problem for us because we had so many options within walking distance for all of our meals. Definitely would stay in SUNRISE again.

There were no sheets for the pull out couch, so our preteen daughter just slept on her own blanket on the sofa, not a big deal. Its proximity to the beach pavilion, about four homes away from access as well as the commercial center of Seaside, is its best feature and we enjoyed that. Seaside itself has undergone changes since we last stayed. Roaming teens throughout are generally well behaved, but tables were filthy, lines were long, food was overpriced and garbage was smelly. The town needs to hire more cleanup people when rentals are at peak. Traffic is a nightmare, but the beach itself was great. Sunrise owner needs to fix the french door stability upstairs as a storm came through and the doors flew open at 5am. But... accommodations were adequate. (PS Not a good place to stay if you have an issue with stairs). We are used to staying in the larger homes, so take this review with a grain... it's a fine little guest house.
