Great home exactly as described in a fantastic location next to everything at the front of the island! Loved the privacy and the backyard. Master bathroom is gorgeous! Well stocked kitchen and lovely decor. Screened porch is fantastic as well!

We had a fabulous vacation on Oak Island! The property is wonderful, well maintained and very clean. 3 bedrooms 2 baths, Very comfortable place. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings. The beach is walking distance, the owner Carrie says its a 10 minute walk, but we drove every day as the parking was no problem (buy a weekly pass from Surfcast - 80 and you can park most anywhere). I thought about renting a golf cart for the week - glad I didn't! Entirely unnecessary.We brought our Shih-Tzu Miley Jo with us. She's getting older and I hate leaving her at home, so this was perfect. She enjoyed the house AC during the day and walks on the beach for sunset. The whole town is dog-friendly, we were able to take her to the point for shells, and we took her with us for dinner twice. Great fenced in yard, just the right size. The house is walking distance to shopping, several restaurants, and a giant candy store. Also probably the best ice cream ever at Sweet Treats.I did have to carry our dog up and down the stairs. Everything is on the second floor, like many beach properties, so the stairs are unavoidable. Not a problem but something to be aware of for some people.There was a shed that has chairs/wagon/umbrella, boogie boards and a beach game or two. Makes for less you have to pack for your trip. Love the deck, and the kitchen has most anything you might need, plates, glasses, silverware, utensils.I highly recommend the place

Excellent accommodations, host was very responsive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean when we arrived. Close walking distance to the beach, grocery stores, and shops. We also found some great restaurants and other memorable places to visit nearby. Very nice extras such as a fire pit, seating for our entire family inside and out back, ceiling fans in all rooms, extra large washer and dryer, and helpful items in the shed for use at the beach! We even paid it forward by adding an inflatable raft with oars in the shed for future guests. We highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our family of 4. Host responded to all communication quickly. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants.

We stayed at this lovely house for our spring break trip. The host was communicative and had thoughtful touches throughout the house, even a binder with information on the area. The house was beautiful! Everything we needed and more. We loved being able to walk to beach, restaurants and shops. The backyard was perfect! Our dogs loved the yard and my daughter spent hours in the hammock. The fire pit was a nice touch for the evenings spent roasting marshmallows. The house had plenty of outdoor space with seating to enjoy watching the sunset and drinking coffee. We would love to stay here again and make more family memories on Oak Island!! Would absolutely recommend!!!
