Stayed Nov 14, 2025Host was very friendly & welcoming. It was a very well equipped house. We had 4 generations staying & found the house had all we needed from pots, pans, crockery, 2 coffee machines, all the linen required plus the toys/books for our great grandchildren to use were much appreciated too. Unfortunately Settlers Hill is not sign posted on Rue Balguerie so 4 of our party missed the turn off. I know this is not the hosts fault. We had a wonderful stay thank you.

Stayed Apr 19, 2025Large family home,great toys for kids and pool table a bonus. Very good communication and clear instructions on how to enter property. A narrow and steep road up to house limits ability to walk to town with small children.

Stayed Mar 27, 2025Lovely view over Akaroa Harbour from upstairs. We enjoyed our stay. The house was large and just accommodated us all. A couple of wee things like some coffee pods and the beds made as we paid for the linen and towel option would have been good. Overall our stay was very comfortable thanks.

Stayed Feb 21, 2025Plenty of room for our group of 8 ladies - this house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Lots of room to spread out and relax. Well appointed kitchen & pantry, and more than enough wine glasses :-)

Stayed Jan 20, 2025We enjoyed our stay and liked being able to walk into town(15min walk). The view from the master bedroom balcony was lovely! Annette did a great job of keeping in touch and providing all the information we needed. The only suggestion we had to be a 5 star rating would be to update some of the furnishings/decor.

Stayed Dec 30, 2024The house was perfect for our family holiday. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we only had one sunny day. The games room was a blessing. Driveway was challenging with a boat but we managed. A good time was had by us all.
