Stayed Jan 25, 2024This place was amazing, the location, the area and home was perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was extremely well equiped. If you are looking for somewhere relaxing with beautiful views and the real Australia, this is the place. Kangaroos everywhere.. we will definitely look at staying here again.

Stayed Apr 9, 2021Roll of toilet paper is rediculous. The toilet was broken and would be running if someone didnt get up and play with the toilets buttons to stop the water from running. The bathroom cold water was snapped off and just sitting on the bottom of the tap. The dusting was slack the art pictures have dust all around the frame. There was built up dust behind the bed head of the bunk beds. We got caught with the screen door screen door latch. If you are not careful when you shut the door you accidently dont push the lever to lock the screen door. Quite easy to do. Maybe put a note on the window aligned to the screen door latches to be careful. Lucky we had someone inside asleep who could undo the locking system from inside.Bad design by the manufacturer, but other guests will get caught. Love being on the front for the kayaking and the lovely grass area in front. For the pricing the stove should be updated. The whole procedure booking with LJ Hooker is difficult in that they ask you to give them your credit card details in an email. That is long gone with all the hackers out there. Also the real estate not able to return the deposit to your credit card but you have to give them your bank details. Not a flow through procedure for the money side. Staying in Sydney hotels they have a better way to take your deposit and then returning it with out giving more of your credit information. We dont think that 4pm for pick up of the keys is a late start to the stay. You get there unpack and then the sun sets. You loose out on unpacking and checking out your surroundings before night fall. Since guests are required to be out of the chalet by the dreaded 10 am You feel like you missed out on some precious time by having to wait till 4pm to get the keys. Which is in Sussex Inlet for you to drive back to Berrara. If we had a choice the Kangaroo Chalet is the best one is rent than this one. What is the emergency number if something goes wrong out of business hours from LJ Hooker. Another guest at another chalets battery for the gate key had gone flat and they ended up hunting around the chalets for someone who could let them out and told them what size battery to get for replacement. Maybe Chalets should have a back up gate battery to save this happening to anyone.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our stay in Challet 9 was comfortable and just what we needed. It was well kitted out with a very functional kitchen. The views were beautiful and it was well protected from wind. Kids had space to play and enjoyed the wallabies. Take extra toilet paper.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay here. The chalet is compact and set up with everything you need, we particularly liked the homey touches around the place. We will definitely be back again!
