Sea Grass House 7 Br with inground pool

It was nice we have stayed at this house a few other times we really like it there

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked into this house we had issues. The floors was so dirty that within 5 minutes the bottom of our feet was dirty. We spent our first 2 days trying to get the different issues fixed. The TV in the room where the washer/dryer is (also has a bed) doesn’t work and they couldn’t get it to work. The pool lights didn’t get fixed till 2 days before we left. The window lock for one of the bedrooms was on the outside instead of the inside. We had shower issues in 2 of the bathrooms. This house needs to have some money out into it to make it safer. The floors has a lot of soft spots and we wondered if we would fall through some of the boards. The floor going into the bathroom from the first floor bathroom has a spot about 2 x 4 area that is ready to fall through and if you don’t watch how you walk over it you could get splinters. Downstairs there is no couches to sit on. Just 2 kitchen tables. The description of the house doesn’t tell you that the living room is on the second floor. This was a problem as we had a person who has knee issues and made it difficult for her to climb the stairs. The management company was very responsive to our issues and took care of what they could. But a lot of the issues falls back on the owner of this property. When we complained about the dirty floors the cleaning crew was sent back to the house and swept and mopped all of the house. The trash was a little confusing. It seems like once your trash is picked up that you can’t put anymore in your dumpster and are required to take it to a public dumpster. This didn’t seem right that we had to find the dumpster on other streets to take our bags. Also the big binder seemed a little much. It was like having to read a novel. I rent rentals multiple times a year and have never had so many instructions before. The back yard needs to be better maintained along with the furniture that is back the

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property was not good for families with young children. We had 14 people (6 adults) for a family reunion. The sinks clogged frequently, the dryer broke and was not fixed and looked way too small for the house size to begin with. The property managers tried their best giving new towels every few days but with children we really needed a washer and dryer. The pool was great and it is a very short walk to the beach. The dining table in the kitchen was an outdoor table with outdoor patio chairs, the place could use an upgrade on furniture. I would not recommend this place for a family vacation. I would recommend the property management company and will work with them to find a place for next year.

The house was clean and nice size to fit the entire family. Loved the 3 or 4 min walk to the beach and pool at house. I enjoyed how many places there were in walking distance. Our beach access had banana boating and parasailing which the family was able to enjoy both! The beach was nice and not overcrowded on the right side where we rented chairs with umbrellas. We walked to get ice cream, lunch, the souvenir shop, convenience store, and mini golf all which were a hit. Overall we had a great week and enjoyed working with owner direct vacation rentals who were very friendly and helpful.

The location of the house is great. It’s a short walk to the beach, walking distance to Mr. G’s ice cream shop, 2 gift shops, and putt putt golf. We had 4 young teenagers and they loved this! The pool was great for the kids as well. For the negatives- the house is in pretty bad shape. The furniture is very old and worn down. The place needs a deep clean! The walls, doors, baseboards, corners of bathrooms were disgusting. The outdoor grill wasn’t clean and had to clean it before use. Also, I would recommend a couch instead of another dining room table on the main level where the tv is.

All the bedrooms with the exception of the king room to the left as you enter the home were nice. I did not feel that the home was very clean. I understand there are people in and out on a regular basis, but I felt it could have been cleaner. There were no bathmats in the one bathroom, limited hooks and bars for towels. We loved the pool at the home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent 7 days Confortably in the sea grass house.we had 12 people in 8 rooms and everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in. The pool was a great addition for those days we didn't feel like walking the short distance to the beach.the surrounding area was quiet and had everything we needed; from an ice cream shop to the little store next to it and the beach store not too far from there. The grill was handy and plentiful for the whole family. I stayed with my family, my brother and his family with plenty of room at the dinner tables. There was also plenty of entertainment for when we were just lounging aroind from a tv in every room to two tvs in each living room respectively.Overall it was a great experience and the perfect house for our getaway, definitely would recommend and rent again.

It was a perfect house for a family of 10, we enjoyed it.
