Prince Edward, Ontario
In between Toronto and Ottawa in wonderful Prince Edward County, this Scandinavian waterfront log house is the ultimate retreat. The Cressy Log House is a waterfront property situated on half an acre of land filled with gardens, trees, wildlife and the crystal-clear waters of Adolphus Reach - the perfect place to relax, explore and commune with nature.

The crystal waters of Adolphus Reach present beautiful swimming and kayaking opportunities with two kayaks available for your enjoyment. The Cressy Log House offers all the amenities one could desire for a family vacation, a romantic getaway or a unique work-from-home opportunity.
Despite being away from the noise, the world-class wineries, restaurants and amenities of Prince Edward County are never far away. Only a 15-minute drive to Waupoos, 20-minute drive to downtown Picton and an additional 15-20 minutes to the famous Sandbanks Provincial Park and the town of Wellington
As advertised, this property has everything one needs. Nice view, nice sunsets on the lake, cottage has everything, comfortable beds and great living areas. Thank you to our hosts!
For a family with teens this worked well. The adults were able to bike at near wineries, the teens were able to enjoy high speed internet. Everyone was happy.
We loved every moment of our stay here. The cottage is beautifully decorated with every amenity you could possibly need. Great location, tons of space out back and great views of the lake. Would highly recommend!
Excellent property in a very quiet location. Beds very comfortable but I would like to suggest that there are a few more firmer bed pillows. Host was helpful. All in all we enjoyed our time in This home.
We recently stayed at the log cabin. It was a very lovely spot - both the location and the cottage itself. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Impeccable experience and perfect labour day getaway by the water. Privacy and homey-ness worth every penny. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. Nice swimming and campfires just across a very lightly trafficked road. Good proximity to hiking at McAuley conservation area, wineries and Sandbanks. Very clean and well equipped cottage.
The Cressy cottage is an amazing cottage and my family and I had an amazing time staying there. The property is absolutely spotless, well maintained and well stocked; it is exactly how it looks in a profile. The entire property is well maintained, grass immaculate maintained, with lots of room for kids to run around and for us to enjoy the beauty of it. Taking advantage of provided gas BBQ was a treat and having a working AC during a late summer heatwave a true blessing that many cottages don't have. The Cressy Bay is mear steps away from the house and it was very nice to be able to go in and out of the water as we please. The water was warm, calm; the shore's a bit rocky so make sure you have water shoes. The overall checking in proceess was smooth and hastle free, which is exactly what you want when you arrive somewhere. The hosts could not have been more friendly, responsive and accommodative. We definitely will be back.
We had a lovely week in Cressy. The property is well maintained and the amenities were modern and clean in a lovely log home. We appreciated the modern appliances and tv in the evenings, and savoured the quiet and peaceful outdoor setting during the day, The front porch was a great place to sit and listen to birds as well as read a book. The water was warm enough to swim in and was quite refreshing, we needed to wear water shoes because of the rocks, but that wasn't a problem at all. We kept our bikes on our car and drove to Picton and Wellington to use the Millennium Trail and also hiked in the McAulay conservation area. We truly enjoyed our break.
