The Sasquatch Sanctuary was perfect for our family visit to the redwoods. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is perfect for exploring the redwoods and coast. We would stay there again if we return to the area.

3 friends and myself took a motorcycle trip down the coast to see the redwoods. We stayed 2 nights at the Sasquatch sanctuary. The house was great, stocked with extras. Only draw back was the gravel road coming into the property, not the greatest on a motorcycle, but its definitely not enough to discourage us from staying again.

Besides some food, you don't need anything else while you're here. This place has an abundance of dishes, appliances, towels, games..... It is tucked back in the woods in a beautiful area of the forest. Cozy and comfortable. Quiet at night. We would definitely come back for a longer stay again!!

The photos don't do this place justice. The house was loacted 10 minutes north of Crescent City in a small, quiet, forested neighborhood accessed by a short but well-maintained dirt road. The place was exceptionally clean. Even the grill was the cleanest used grill I've ever seen. There was plenty of space for the five of us and everyone reported that the beds were very soft and comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with some basic cooking utensils and even a crockpot. The backyard had a fenced-in yard with a sitting area, patio furniture and fire pit (with some wood to burn). There were even a few board games available. Besides being a super comfortable place, it was ideally located between all of the national and state parks as well as the coastal drives. We could access everything within about an hour's drive or less (Jedediah Smith State Park was less than 15 minutes away). I would absolutely stay there again. Actually, I just want to live there.

This house is ideal for 11 or less people. But it can squeeze 12-13. Great property managers and would recommend this place for vacationers to Redwoods.

The firepit was an amazing hit for making smores, and the grounds were just the ticket for the 4 children to explore and collect treasures. There was ample room in the home for all 7 of us to live comfortably. The instructions on caring for the home and what to do on departure were clear and easy to accomplish. The house was also outfitted well, with all the cooking and dining equipment a group our size could need (except we never could find a can opener. It was probably somewhere very obvious). Compared to other vacation rentals we've stayed in, this one could use a good deep cleaning. While the surfaces were clean, as were the beds and bathrooms, there were some pretty healthy cobwebs on the screens, dirt-stained woodwork, and dusty cupboards inside. Maybe there just hasn't been time to do those things in a busy rental season. Also, one burner on the cooking range didn't work at all and another was so slanted it was unsafe to use. Lola seemed surprised to hear about that, so maybe that's a new issue. The king bed is VERY soft! I also, for the first time ever, struggled with how to unlock and relock the front door. Lola is a property manager.

The house is spacious and clean. We were all comfortable. The house is not far off the highway but feels secluded.

Great house in a great location. Surrounded by forrest and very quiet. ENORMOUS stumps in the yard evidencing the giant trees that once stood here. Kids found wild berries and slugs out there as well. We found the house to be extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Would come back here in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing your cabin in the woods with us!

This property is exactly as pictured and described. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. Lots of towels and beach items provided, which was handy. The washer/dryer was a plus. Kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans for cooking. It is very quiet in the area with a great view of trees and stumps that showcase the amazing Redwoods. We highly recommend.
