Saratoga Charmer.w/Communtiy Pool and Private Beach

Love the place and the decorations. The host communicates well when there are issues or questions.

An old property that needs updating and maintenance. Plumbing fixtures were functional but outdated. Who years uses push-pull faucets. Lighting fixtures in dining area and living area need replaced or dimmer switches. The king size mattress was horrible, needs to be replaced with a quality mattress.

Spent 4 days at the beach and also visited Delaware,Maryland, and North Carolina. Check info was easy and done in an email.

Great place with plenty of room for the family and quick cart ride into town

This might have been the best property we have ever booked through VRBO. Owners were very easy to reach with any questions and the condo was fantastic. Highly recommend it.

The house was perfect! It has everything you could need. The location was perfect as well, with access to the pool and the beach and a short ride to town. I recommend renting a golf cart - it was really helpful! The host was very easy to get in contact with. We had a great stay and I’d recommend!

Very lovely home and community, but after staying in this community for three years in a different house, this couldn’t compare. We felt like we were being watched by a neighbor or neighbors. First, we knew we couldn’t have our dog with us, so we had him boarded 20 minutes away, but wanted to have him with us at the beach some times during the day. Stopped at the house briefly (he was in the yard only) and one neighbor must’ve spotted him in the yard and reported to the owner and we were charged an extra $500! Upon talking to the owner, we got that straightened out when I told him our dog was being boarded. Another time we simply wanted to move our vehicles around, as the limit is three vehicles, with one fitting in the garage and two in the driveway. While shifting our vehicles around, we parked one vehicle in the neighbors driveway for a few minutes. Well, we again were told about that and explained the situation. And finally, we were accused of having a golf cart and canoe in the yard, when in fact, we don’t own one! We felt like we were being constantly watched and harassed, which put a damper on our vacation for sure. We were only there a week and to have to deal with this! Otherwise, we love Cape Charles.

Great location and property in Cape Charles. Lawrence was very responsive with a few questions and his place was great with everything you need. The one bedroom upstairs without a fan can get pretty warm compared to the house, but other than that it was perfect. We even rented a golf cart for the week and they were able to deliver and pick it up right at the house.

Totally met the needs of our family. Twin beds need better mattresses. Otherwise awesome.

I have rented the Saratoga Charmer over several years. Lawrence’s home is warm and full of love. My family and I love its simplicity and beauty. It is open and just elegant. It is also spacious, comfortable and practical allowing for everything you need. I have recommended it to others. We hope to rent it again sometime in the near future. Greta
