Stayed Jun 24, 2025We checked in and all seemed fine the first night with the exception that the pool was completely GREEN and you could not see over a few inches past the water's surface. They said it was fine to swim in, and they would try to clean it; it was cloudy but swimmable the last day. The house is quite a bit more worn than in the pictures, there is a lot of black mold in the rooms and we were unaware that this property operates as a B&B and there are cameras set up in the living room. The second night we were trying to cook dinner and the electricity kept tripping (we were only using the cooktop). One of the water heaters went bad and was tripping the electricity (my husband had to figure out the issue for the care taker after 3 hours). This resulted in only 2 of our 9 person group being able to take showers before we had to wait for at least an hour for the water to heat up again, so we all just dealt with cold showers for the most part for our entire stay, despite the host saying they were going to fix it. One of the bedrooms the AC did not work, but they had put a swamp cooler in that would stop working at least two times throughout the night and we would have to add water to it. Then, halfway through the week two more of the air conditioners stopped working it was over 40 out. THEN, someone was using the pool when we came back to the house at the end of the stay who was apparently a friend of the caretaker. We tried to work with the owner offline, but they will not respond.

Stayed Jul 7, 2022Really fun, beautiful home with several bedrooms of different themes and a gorgeous pool. Very convenient access by car to the beaches and downtown Cascais and Sintra. Thank you so much for the lovely stay and would highly recommend to anyone else!

Stayed Jul 10, 2021Very nice property. Owners were very kind, we just felt a bit intruded when they came at 8 to clean the swimming pool without warning. Other than that, we had a really good time.
