Stayed Jan 15, 2025Casa Ishi is truly a hidden gem, conveniently located 5 miles from Conchi Y Toro Vineyard. Behind the gate lies a lovely garden filled with fruit trees and vines of herb. There are orange trees from which you can pick fresh oranges to make a cup of freshly squeezed OJ, lemon, avocado, and fig trees. Vines of edible grapes. Rows of lavender, rosemary, … and of course many varieties of cute or handsome succulents. In the lodge by the garden, you can witness peaceful sunrise in the morning and beautiful sunset in the evening.Kitchen is well designed for home cooking away from home.Cash Ishi is a place to rest and recover … inside or in the garden. We also found Casa Ishi is a convenient place to use as a base for travel to good vineyards, trekking Andes, good restaurants and markets including farmers’ market where you can find many fresh and very tasty fruits and vegetables, all within an hour of drive. The owners of Casa Ishi, Michelle and Teiji are kind and helpful. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment you check-in to the time you depart, we were treated with genuine hospitality and a warm smile. They are knowledgeable about the local area and are always ready to offer recommendations for activities, dining, and sightseeing. In conclusion, our time at Casa Ishi with Michelle and Teiji is an unforgettable experience. We are sure to return.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful time in the villa. The fruit baring trees and gardens made meals much more delicious!! The owners are very kind and inviting. We had the pleasure of dinning with them in there lovely home on the property. The town of Pirque is very close and so charming. We had a fantastic honeymoon here. We encourage everyone to visit Casa Ishi and experience the local businesses! Such as Casa Bosque, Casa de Chocolate and Concha y Toro! Thanks again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE!!!!! From our host's wave hello, to their wave good-bye several days later, we felt that we were in paradise. The grounds of the property are large and beautifully planted..Our hosts shared their vegetables and flowers with us. Our accommodations were spotless and comfortable. And beyond all that our hosts were so warm and welcoming and so helpful. It was an experience we will long remember!!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I stayed at Casa Ishi for our last four nights in Chile. It was about an easy 50 minute drive from the airport. We absolutely loved the house! It was private, beautifully furnished, clean and the kitchen had all the cookware and utensils we needed to make meals. The house is situated above the river and surrounded by the beautiful gardens on this property. We woke up every morning to the sound of the river and the incredible birds. We really enjoyed having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening at the table and chairs (under the grape vine covered trellis) in the garden. It was very peaceful and quiet and we took many walks around the garden so we could see all the fruit trees and beautiful flowers. This is a great location and everyday we took day trips, went to some of the wineries and also went to Pomaire to shop for pottery. The owners were wonderful and made us feel very welcome! They took good care of us and provided information related to local stores and restaurants. We went to the restaurant at Concha y Toro and had lunch at La Vaquita Echa and would recommend both for dinner or lunch. The local grocery stores were great, well stocked and we found everything we needed to make our own meals as well. We went to Santiago at the beginning of our trip and we are so glad that instead of going back to Santiago, we decided to stay at Casa Ishi. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed Apr 19, 2016Michelle and Teiji have a beautiful property approximately an hour from Santiago. The grounds are perfectly manicured with lovely flowers and fruit trees, and the two houses are artfully decorated and well maintained. There was always the sound of running water from the nearby river, providing a wonderful backdrop. They were both fantastic hosts and recommended several winieries nearby to visit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a respite just outside Santiago.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I LOVE Casa Ishi!!!! It’s the perfect hideaway in the middle of it all - a stone’s throw from some really fantastic vineyards and beautiful mountain vistas. Our favorite was a day spent at the nearby Santa Rita Vineyards where we had a fantastic lunch at the historic Dona Paula Restaurant - amazing scenery, unbelievable pre-Columbian museum and a delicious meal to boot. Returning home to Casa Ishi was a pleasure - sipping our newly purchased vintages under a trellis covered in vines with ripe grapes for the picking. Great location, beautiful grounds, immaculate and comfortable rooms, and the owners are the consummate hosts. Can’t wait to return!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The villa and property are absolutely gorgeous. The guest house has been beautifully renovated and was very comfortable. The gardens were in full bloom as well as many of the fruit trees. We even picked fruit to have with our breakfast every day. We were truly in paradise! The location of Casa Ishi can't be beaten. It is centrally located to everything there is to do in the Maipo Valley. We took a couple of day trips to Santigo, visited several world-class wineries, went on an incredible full-day trail ride, and rafted down the Maipo River. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Casa Ishi to anyone!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband and I stayed in the smaller one-bedroom house at Casa Ishi. It was lovely and beautifully well tended—with lovely details from the dishes and cutlery, to the bottle of wine awaiting our arrival, to small bottles of shampoo and soap for us to use. The owners are wonderfully attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay and a variety of day trips in the gorgeous surrounding valley. The whole thing was a treat, and I would love to visit again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Casa Ishi was fabulous! My sister and I were there for 2 weeks and used it as our home base for our trip around Chile. It is centrally located in the Maipo Valley, where many of the best wineries are. It is just about 45 mins to Santiago as well as 30 minutes to great adventure travel such as horseback riding, zip lining and white water rafting. Our accommodations were excellent with great views of the Maipo River and the owners amazing gardens with beautiful flowers and delicious fruit trees.
