Elevated high enough to have stunning views but not too high to make a beach trip feel like a full blown workout. Space, both inside and out, to come together or find time alone.

Recently reborn following a complete internal renovation Sand Ends is the perfect combination of rustic charm on the outside and modern creature comfort on the inside. The home itself is set over two separately accessed stories, and comprises 4 bedrooms, an open plan lounge and kitchen area with offset dining area and two decks. Other key features include wood fire, reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and off street parking. In addition to the breathtaking views, the surrounds offer spectacular native gardens, grassed area and excellent privacy. There are even two secret direct access tracks to the beach for the intrepid explorer. For those less adventurous, a 200 metre stroll will take you past the Wye River Hotel, General Store and onto the sand. Suited to both families and friends, come enjoy the simple pleasures Sands End has to offer.

Pricing is based around seasons, length of stay and number of guests. It is important all bookings reflect the exact number of guests. If this changes, you must contact us. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published rates across all booking platforms, however Great Ocean Road Real Estate Holidays reserves the right to correct pricing errors.

Unless otherwise previously agreed, all stays must only be used for private residential usage and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking. Unless ‘Pets Welcome’ is advertised, the property is strictly no pets.

All holiday accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home in accordance with the “House Rules”. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.

    The view from the deck was fantastic, however the interior of the home was somewhat disappointing. On arrival we found the modular sofa had been steam cleaned. The cushions were all upended and unfortunately extremely damp meaning we were unable to use the sofa until our second night. Windows we’re grimy and cupboards not terribly clean. Exterior only access to the two downstairs bedrooms was less than ideal in the rain.

    Superb location and views sadly let down by the condition of the house.Overall the house was extremely dirty,it certainly was not completely renovated as per the advertising.

    Location of house was perfect! Rooms were comfortable and had great views. A few minor drawbacks included that the 2 downstairs rooms were only accessible outside, no wifi, and it appeared the place was overdue for a thorough clean (overall was clean, but if you looked at dinner details, came up short). Also the oven door didn't close all the way. That said, the view and overall house more than made up for it and would definitely stay here again!

    This house was a delight to stay in -such a brilliant position with magnificent elevated views across the bay. To be able to walk to the beach was a bonus. Great house design with updated look - a pleasure to be there.

    We stayed for a weekend and found the property to be everything promised on the website and as per previous reviews. Views were great and the location was fantastic just up from the pub. Accommodation was very comfortable, although no air-conditioning in the bedrooms (ceiling fans) so those susceptible to the heat may need to be aware in summer). Our daughter enjoyed the fact that the 2 bedrooms downstairs are separately accessed from outside so she could pretend she was in her own apartment separate from the rest of the family. A somewhat curious collection of glassware but otherwise the house has everything you need! Would definitely recommend.

    Fantastic location, gorgeous views, 4 beds were all so comfortable & 1 bathroom was absolutely not a hassle at all with 2 additional seperate toilets solves the amenities. House is absolutely great & we will be back.

    Amazing area, and amazing views the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The property is a 4 bedroom house 2 bedrooms on ground and 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor. ****However there are no stairs inside the house access is only via an outside staircase . So if you have young children you will be separated . (I have 4 kids all under 13 years) . So I did have to get up to check on them thru the night, apart from that hickup we all had an amazing time.
