Salt Island Views: 4-Season Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is very special. The owners were an artist and geologist and the home is appointed with art and cool items. If you have small children who are walking and reaching to grab things this may not be the best choice of rentals. The views are terrific and it is a short walk (5 min) to Good Harbor Beach. Beds are comfortable, 3 separate sitting areas and a large deck with comfortable lounge chairs to view the ocean and Salt Island. The kitchen is tiny but workable with toaster oven, microwave and oven. Huge round table with comfortable chairs for dining. Quiet neighborhood with friendly people and their dogs walking by. Quick walk to ice cream and subs, walk about 8 minutes to Long Beach as well. Love this place, we have rented it twice.

The home is exceptionally beautiful and in a perfect location for beach lovers, as it is only a very short walk to both Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach. The ocean, as well as Salt Island, is constantly in view from the large, comfortable deck and from the major living areas inside the home. As much as we loved it, families with very small children would find it challenging, as would anyone for whom walking is difficult, as the main living/dining/cooking areas are up a flight of stairs. For us, it was perfect.

The lovely view of the ocean & Salt Island with its changing tides made for a memorable week. We walked to Good Harbor Beach at least 2 times a day & enjoyed the refreshing water & clean, soft sand. The house was commodious, well equipped & well positioned. Neighbors were so friendly & offered so many helpful tips about the area.
