Lovely stay with family. We were attending a wedding. Close to the beach and restaurants.

This was our second time staying here. Ellen and Jim were great hosts yet again. Someone from our group left something at the house and Ellen reached out to mail it right away! We will definitely be returning next summer :)

Ellen and James made our stay wonderful and easy. They were very thorough on the property information and local events. They are also very accommodating for all needs as well as great communicators. We loved staying at the property with all of its amenities.

The property was as advertised and perfect for our vacation with 6 teenagers. The location was great being two blocks from the beach and one block from beautiful evening sunsets (that you can also see from the deck). It’s also a quick five minute walk to a great cafe (biggest donuts I’ve ever seen) next to an ice cream shop (yum) next to a skate shop (a must visit if you’re an Eagles fan). Townsends Inlet is very quiet in the morning making it great for a morning walk before starting the day. In the evening, walk up a block and catch the Jetty to downtown for some nightlife. You get the best of both worlds here. Ellen the host was very sweet to meet us at check in and walk us through all the amenities. She also supplied us in advance with a list of local events happening during our stay which was very helpful. Top notch service!

Ellen and Jim were amazing hosts! Property was exactly as expected. My friends and I had a great Memorial Day weekend and can’t wait to come back to their home for Labor Day to end the summer.

We loved our stay at Ellen and Jim’s home. We were able to gather at the end of a long day around the table, or hang out in the upstairs family room and watch TV. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. We would stay here again!

We just returned from a long weekend and I can't recommend it enough! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and the bedrooms were cozy with comfortable beds. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, cart, and games. The location is unbeatable – close enough to town for convenience but still tucked away for a peaceful, private retreat. The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We can't wait to come back again!

We had a fantastic week at the Castle Beach House! it is so nice to be greeted at arrival by Ellen our hostess with so much enthusiasm for her guests to see the house and learn so much about Sea Isle City! They have put together a wonderful binder of just about everything you need to know about the house, history, and activities proved in the area. Also a section with restaurants with the ratings of previous guests! this beach area is definitely not a city. it is a vibrant community with dedication to providing a lot of outdoor activities for families with no charge. Since we had several cooler days with red flags at the beach we spent time playing pickle ball, enjoying a very large play ground, riding bikes and fishing/crabbing from a beautiful pier. This southern end of the island is very narrow and quiet which provides a feeling of having your own beach and inlet at close range. Now for the biggest hit for the kids! THE TURRET ROOM! Immediately upon arrival all the kids of all ages had to run up and inspect that room! it became the highlight of a lot of imaginative play and a game room. Bottom line...when you are picking a vacation spot with kids in mind it is so nice to find a place that everyone can feel comfortable and not worry about a lot of fancy furniture or breaking valuables. And a real perk was having Ellen and Jim as hosts who enjoyed answering questions and care about their guests of all ages.

Short walk to the beach in Sea Isle city but very quiet neighborhood. Quaint clean home as advertised. Owners were very attentive to our needs. Weather could’ve been better but we had an enjoyable time.

The home was great and exactly as outlined in the description. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful the area of Sea Isle where the house was located even in the middle of August. The hosts were super hospitable. We would definitely recommend this home!

Our family of five, plus a few friends, enjoyed our week in this clean, spacious condo. Great location, excellent climate control and wonderful hosts made this a week to remember. We spent a lot of time at the beautiful beach, and also made trips to Ocean City for the rides, Cape May for the zoo, and Avalon got shopping/ dinner!

The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The hosts were attentive and very easy to work with. We use VRBO a lot, and this definitely was one of the more accurately described properties! Thank you for a great stay and for the awesome weather you provided too!

The house was everything we wanted to celebrate a family wedding. The owners are wonderful, communication great, and the house had everything we needed. We even took “groom’s getting ready” photos in the upstairs great room. Thank you to James and Ellen
