Lovely, small apartment - we were a group of three friends so used the sofa bed to ensure all had a bed each. Beds were comfortable. The apartment is a bit dark as opening windows would be directly on to pavement but makes great use of a small space. We found the check in instructions a bit hard to follow as post box and apartment don't say the name on them. We had a great stay and I would consider staying here again.

The flat is as described, though I’m uncertain it technically classifies as two bedrooms considering one is just a bed with a curtain that closes. The location is amazing - very close to public transportation, lots of shops and restaurants, and a grocery store nearby. It should be noted that this flat is in close proximity to a school, so it’s quite noisy in the mornings - lots of kids coming and going. There is also a lot of great natural lighting in the flat, so I was happy to have brought an eye mask. Overall our stay was fine, host was super friendly and responsive.

My main complaint with this whole experience was rude communication with host property manager who runs apparently 90 units. I’ve never experienced anyone like this on VRBO. It started with abrupt demands for final payment 10 days before it was due. I had paid deposit and she told me I hadn’t. Finally she realized I had. Then we got wrong codes for entry and were not able to get in. Never apology. Laundry machine didn’t work and after many attempts to work it, contacted host who then told me repair was coming in 2 days (after we would be gone). I had not been told machine was broken. She tried to tell me how to push buttons and I did all that but she wouldn’t accept it didn’t work. Stove fan isn’t operating very well either as the buttons are almost impossible to push from being worn down. Dishwasher had no power but at this point I didn’t even tell host as I was tired of saying anything Otherwise this apartment is cute in a very small space. Would be fine for 2-3 people or a couple with 2 young children. But not if you have 4 larger or taller adults and especially if you need to use the sofa bed. Once sofa bed is open you can’t move and sofa bed is super uncomfortable. The location if you like this district is nice. Close to shops and restaurants. But if you’re here to see typical Paris highlights like Eiffel Tower or Arc de Triomphe etc you will need 30 minutes to get to most or one hour more on foot. Was a stressful visit here. I hate leaving bad reviews

The location cannot be beat ! Metro’s a few minutes walk away & Rue St Paul with sooo many options for food, shopping etc. Walking in this area is scenic, safe and as a « pied à terre » is easy to visit Paris from. The apartment itself is functional & esthetically it has the bones to be charming. It’s on ground floor so you hear everything at all hours ie people talking as they walk by, bikes/cars etc (bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper). If just a few basics were included, this could be 5 star hands down i.e. a shower caddy (so your soap/shampoo aren’t on the shower floor), a functioning towel rack (there is a towel warmer - tho it doesn’t work so you are left with wet towels in a v. small bathroom, making it hard to dry anything in), a toilet paper holder, a throw blanket/pillows for the sofa (the sofa material is v. hard to the touch and tho it’s comfortable to sit on, not if you’re wearing shorts/pj’s). The coffee machine is Nespresso compatible & you need to bring your own capsules (which I did), it made awesome coffee. A small extra to offer guests would earn this place a 5 star. The owner was v. prompt with responding & attempted to address concerns (ie suggesting a laundromat nearby). Amenities were as listed tho it should be noted the washer/dryer wasn’t working when we arrived and a repair person was to come fix it after our departure. Overall if you can overlook the above ´nice to haves’ it’s a great central place to stay in 4e arrondissement.

Street level apartment in a great location within walking distance of Marais and neighboring attractions. The street is generally not busy but you will easily hear street noise if that is a concern. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with good water pressure and plenty of hot water for laundry and showers. The laundry machine is both wash and dry so plan on a very long wait to finish your load. If you have 2 people the apartment is ideally set up if you are two couples then the space is relatively small. The layout is definitely going to be better than a hotel room, I would stay here again.

We were thrilled with the flat! It had everything we needed, including for cooking. It’s in a wonderful neighbourhood, with shops and restaurants all around. It’s very close to three metro stops, Place de Bastille, and is a 25 minute ride by metro to many of Paris’s exciting attractions. We would stay here again.

The property is as described in the listing. It is a very small apartment which appears to be very recently renovated. It is fully equipped to meet most people's needs. We stayed in this unit twice during our time in France, both times we found it to be clean and ready for our use. It is an intimate space with almost no privacy, though, and no real living space as beds have taken up the area that probably would have been used for this purpose. Close friends or a small family would be able to make the best use of this unit. It is located on the entry level, and faces the street so noise can be a factor if you are a light sleeper. The property manager was very responsive when contacted.

This place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to the metro and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Able to do laundry and cook breakfast which was a nice perk. Highly recommend!
