St. Armands oasis with saltwater pool - walk to beach & shops

Everything was great!

The home was very recently renovated and done well. All of the appliances, furniture, kitchen / bathrooms have high quality finishes and are like new. The house is surprisingly large compared to the photos. Location can't be beat, with St Armands Circle and Lido Beach both being a quick walk away. There is even a free shuttle that can take you to downtown Sarasota. Would definitely recommend!

Best location, cutest house, in love!!

I can’t wait to stay here again. From beginning to end everything was perfect. Loved walking everywhere and the home had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

This is a lovely villa set in an ideal location with all the amenities you could want for an enjoyable stay. The restaurants and shops are a ten minute from the house and the beach is also within easy walking distance. Would highly recommend.

We love the area, and this home was the perfect place for our 10-day getaway. The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable item needed, and the home layout was ideal. We can’t wait to return!

We are very frustrated with our lack of support and help we received. The house overall was really nice. However, circuits would trip randomly. Sometimes a light would turn on and off without instigation, and other times just closing a door would turn off another light. In the bathrooms some outlets didn’t work at all. One day the AC and most of the electrical went out at dinner time when we were trying to warm up food for the kids and family– the oven and microwave were not working with the fridge going in and out. It was also 90+ degrees outside. We contacted the local manager Braella and we spoke with her about getting an electrician out. At first she was very responsive and was working on getting an electrician to come but wasn’t sure about the status of the electrician. She also said she would check with Vacasa about moving us and giving us options to choose from. I later received an email with only one option that wasn’t suitable for our family, so I called Vacasa and spoke with someone different about not wanting to move and wanting to get an electrician out. She told me she was able to schedule an electrician between 8-9 the next morning. We changed our plans to wait for the electrician, but they never came. We connected the local manager Braella and she stopped responding completely and never bothered to check if we got electricity again. Luckily the electricity eventually returned, but with the previous glitches of randomly losing it. It was extremely frustrating.

The house was very clean and in a great location. It was within walking distance to everything.

This rental is two blocks from St Armand Circle and another two blocks to the beach. The house provides privacy with the master bedroom on one side away from the two other bed and baths. The house is well stopped, and the pool is directly accessible through sets of doors of the living room. The pool is saltwater, which was also really nice Vacasa was very responsive and checked in on us several times

During our stay there was a flash flood, The water completely flooded the pool. While the flood is completely out of anyone's control, how it was handled afterwards was! The next morning the water was gone so, we reached out to see when they could have the pool cleaned so it could be usable due to the amount of debris in the pool. That text went completely IGNORED. The next morning, we contacted the 800# and did not receive a call back until 4:40PM. They said someone would be out the clean the pool the following day - WHICH WAS THE NORMAL CLEANING DAY. The next day NOONE STILL SHOWED! We had 3 full days out of 6 full days with NO POOL. The morning we left I reached out via email to see about a partial refund. I did not think it was fair to pay full price when the main amenity was not usable for half the days. It took 10 DAYS and many follow ups from me for them to offer anything and it was a slap in the face! I was given $113 back out of a $4147 bill for loss of the main amenity of the home. The listing does not mention cameras but beware there are cameras. I kind of expected the doorbell one, but there is one in the pool area too! It is not directly facing the pool but I am sure it can see some activity- plus I am sure they can hear everything. I think there is a level of privacy that is invaded there for sure! makes one question if there were other cameras. The master bedroom sheets were clean but stained and dingy. The rest of the home/stay was as expected.

Awesome house in a great location!

We loved the home’s amenities and cleaniness. The pool was amazing! This home is close to everything we wanted and needed in a vacation rental. Shopping, restaurants, beach and trolley are so close. We highly recommend this home and plan to come back soon!
