Good size house very accommodating for our large family. Decor could be updated but not deal breaker. Family was happy with whole experience! Neighbors were a little loud, but it was New Year’s eve and partied way unto the morning! If had to make quick trip back to Tucson would rent again!
Very nice house. Lots of games to play a lot of space to be in. This house is near perfect. Now the neighborhood is a different story. I'm glad we rented the vehicle we did because if we rented a car we would not have been able to get to the house that first night. They need to put a new lock box on the front of the house because we could barely get into it and I could barely put the key away in it when we had to leave. I'm sure this is my fault but I had a hard time getting a message to the owners to give them some suggestions. All in all it was a wonderful day we just wish the neighbors were better and the road was better.
The house and property were fabulous. We felt safe and comfortable inside. However, I was not at all prepared for the location. For many, I am sure it might feel like a desert oasis. But that is not what I was looking for. It is 8 miles from both federal and state prisons and, driving in from I-10 it seems as if it is in the middle of nowhere. It is not in the town of Sahuarita, but is on the outskirts of the town. The neighbors' property is very close and has broken-down vehicles and a dog that protects the property. Though the dog looked sweet and possibly friendly, I was not comfortable with it being off-leash and not confined to its property, especially, given that we brought our small dog. The vrbo property is fenced in with a chain link fence and a padlock. I did not feel safe enough to walk my dog around the area. Given its location, I had hoped to be able to walk to my grand-daughters house, but this was not possible for me. I had not anticipated the length or rough condition of the dirt road leading up to it. I think the description needs to be more specific about the location. After renting it, we learned that the nearest grocery store is 15 miles away. A much more minor complaint: the kitchen is well-equipped but the knives are in much need of sharpening and we didn't find a knife sharpener. On the positive side, the backyard is beautiful (though not secure for a small dog or amenable to a long-haired or curly-haired dog - except confined to lawn and patio).
Fabulous house - lots of open space, large working kitchen, fun pool table room, fenced yard with lovely outdoor sitting area. Great location to explore southern Arizona - right between Tucson and Green Valley. Neighbors have noisy roosters, goats and dogs. And they like to play their music loud all day long. Other than that, this place is a gem.
The house was large, roomy, and comfortable. It was clean, and the backyard was comfortable and relaxing with adequate seating and large grassy lawn. The access roads to the house are in deplorable condition. The house location is far from most attractions. The neighborhood surrounding the house is not attractive or conducive to taking walks. The immediate neighbor has a barking dog and many goats and plays loud music. The dog barked during the night and seemed to be not attended to. Nothing against the owners of the house which we enjoyed very much, but future customers should be made aware of these things.
We had such a great stay in Sahuarita to visit our family. The house is great for a group and a great common area to share meals and play games.
Our host was extremely responsive to questions and generously allowed us to check in early. The house itself was large enough to confortably fit the 5 adults in our party, and we all greatly enjoyed the beautiful desert views from the back yard and bedroom windows. However, we were unprepared for the remoteness of the location and the poor condition of the roads in the neighborhood leading to the house. Not being familiar with the area and arriving from out of state to attend a wedding, nothing was mentioned until we received check in instructions after final payment was made and the bottom of the email contained the warning that 4 wheel drive is recommended during monsoon season. When we arrived, the road leading from the main road to the house was potholed,
