Sahara Trails offers a complex that sleeps multiple families in either one of the 3 x 2 bedroom cabins, studio room and the 3-bedroom house, you can book the entire accommodation complex for yourselves to relax.

The studio is a renovated cabin with an open plan living/ dining/ kitchenette/ bedroom space with a Queen bed with linen and bed making included. The kitchenette has a microwave and bar fridge and the living area provides a split system air conditioner, smart tv and unlimitedWi-Fi. There is also a stylish bathroom with a rainwater shower head in the shower, vanity, and toilet and access to the shared laundry facilities with a top loader washing machine and dryer, and a fully enclosed yard backing onto the horse paddocks.

There are 3 x two bedroom cabins all renovated and fully self-contained, they provide a split system air conditioner in the open plan living / dining area and smart tv's, unlimited Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchens with complete cooking facilities including electric oven, stove top, microwave, and a bar fridge. Linen and bed making and a stylish bathroom with a rainwater shower head in the shower, vanity, and toilet.

Three bedroom house with stunning timber floorboards throughout, beautiful timber fireplace (timber provided) for the cooler months and a split system air conditioner for the warmer months in the open plan living/ dining area to seat 10 people, smart tv and unlimited Wi-Fi, games and books. All three bedrooms have split system air conditioners, linen and bed making provided. It also offers a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop, dishwasher, family size fridge/ freezer, stone bench tops and a coffee machine, plus the bonus of having an internal laundry with a washer/ dryer combo. The main bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, vanity plus an additional separate toilet.

Sit out on the deck and take in the peace and quiet of the coastal, rural lifestyle. Cook up a feast on your private gas BBQ and enjoy the alfresco dining experience this offers. The house also provides an enclosed separate yard area from the cabins and has a swing and cubby house.

All up, the entire complex sleeps 24 guests with a maximum of 18 adults, and 6 off-street car parks.

Sahara Trails provides a safe and fun horse-riding experience for the whole family from the absolute beginner to the most experienced rider. Enjoy one of their scenic guided trails, relax and experience the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful surrounds.

Birubi beach is only a quick 4-minute drive away where you can spend the day swimming, surfing, snorkelling, or relaxing on the sand, if the sand dunes sound exciting you can either take your own 4wd (permits permitted), take a sand dune safari or jump on a camel for the ultimate experience. Nelson Bay is only a 12 minutes’ drive away; Sahara Trails really gives you the best of both worlds.

Please note – Guests need to be aware of snakes, spiders and animals could be seen as this is a rural getaway. Guests are not permitted to go past the sign-posted areas, through closed or locked gates or horse gear areas as horses are on this property and all care must be taken to always supervise children.

Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have extra visitors (this includes day visitors) in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission if the property permits this.

Obligations to neighbours – Section 2.5.2 of the Code of Conduct

A guest must not at any time during the occupancy period:-

(a) create noise that because of its level, nature, character, or quality, or the time it is made, is likely to harm, offend, or unreasonably disrupt or interfere with the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises
(b) act in a violent or threatening manner towards neighbours or other occupants of the premises
(c) act in a manner that could reasonably be expected to cause alarm or distress to neighbours and other occupants of the premises
(d) use or enjoy the premises in a manner, or for a purpose, that interferes unreasonably with the use or enjoyment of common property by neighbours and other occupants of the premises in a strata or community scheme
(e) intentionally, recklessly or negligently cause damage to premises, any common property or any other communal facilities within the immediate vicinity of the premises, or any public property in the vicinity of the premises
(f) intentionally, recklessly or negligently damage the personal property of neighbours of the premises or other occupants of a strata or community scheme.

This property is approved for holiday accommodation only, no extra bedding mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.
