We paid to heat the pool and could never get it heated despite multiple requests. No one ever came or consistently communicated with us, despite being great communicators leading into the reservation when it came to the intense rules around the property. The pool issue had a profoundly negative impact on the weekend. Not enough supporting equipment (baking sheets, knives, trash bags). Beautiful place but it really felt like they were doing the bare minimum.

Let me start by saying - we had a great time and a lot of fun. That being said, the pool area was by far the highlight of the stay. You should be aware - only two bedrooms are truly “in the main house”. The two bunk rooms are hooked to the main house, but require going outside to get to them. The extra house counts as 4 of the sleeping spots. The backyard with the playset - the turf was good for soccer but the playset not in good condition. The sand volleyball court was set up, but not in great condition. You can get Shipt delivery at this address (bonus!). Please note that the only shared living space is the one shown in th “garage”. It worked but we didn’t realize that was the only space. The bathrooms were all remodeled- so nothing gross but the showers are all those “rain” style shower heads that didn’t allow much pressure or to not get your hair wet. Again, was the house a fun time overall? Yes. Did we feel like it was mis represented? Yes.

This property met our high expectations. Vacasa was extremely responsive and easy to reach thru text. We loved all the space, hammocks, and beautiful pool area, complete with colorful nightlights. The comfortable memory foam mattress was one of the best we have experienced in a vacation rental. And all the TV’s worked! Great for families, fun things to do on property for kids of all ages! Foosball, pac man, fire pit (great for s’mores). Highly recommend!

The property was clean and actually a fun place to stay, but the location was a lot farther out from Palm Springs than we realized and issues we had with the pool and communicating with the manager/owner overshadowed our stay. We visited in April, and the temps outside were still quite cool. In the listing it states the pool fees include heating the pool in the winter, but then further down states a $125/day fee (plus tax) is required to heat the pool. The main reason we chose this property was for the pool/hot tub, so after inquiring about the fees/confusion in the listing (and it took 12 days for the owner to respond. They didn’t even respond at all to another question I had), we decided to pay to have the pool heated. We got there and the pool was not warm. I repeatedly contacted the management company, hoping to resolve this issue so we could swim during our stay. They had to contact “local” representatives to get the issue resolved, and we never had anyone come fix it. We were unable to swim for our stay, except the last day, when the temps outside finally got warm enough, the cool water didn’t matter as much. I requested a refund, and we were given a partial refund, which was good (less than half), but considering it was so cold no one wanted to swim, I feel we should have gotten all but one day back, at a minimum, if not everything. This issue, in addition to the fact that communication was difficult, is why I would not recommend staying here, and wouldn’t go back.

Stayed here with a few families. The house is equipped with everything you need. We were able to relax while our kids played in the backyard jungle gym. Tons of space for the kiddos to explore. The views were incredible! Would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay if you have a large group and need a lot of space. It was close to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree, so we didn’t have to drive too far to visit the sites and do some hiking. The home is equipped with almost everything you need to stay entertained.

We came to Saguaro Gardens for our annual family vacation. The home was beautiful. We have 16 family members & this home has all the room we needed. Everything looked newly remodeled & the decor was very nice. Anything you need to cook with you will find in the kitchen. The outside area has a huge pool & hot tub. There is seating for everyone. There is even a little casita to use as part of the rental. Perfect for the older kids that was their own space. Or the parent that want a little privacy. We will be booking this home for our future family vacations.
