Ryan's Roost ~ 2 Golf Carts ~ Resort Beach Access

The home was very nice and spacious. However, it needed to provide more products to renters to keep the property clean. Renters need to know you only provide one dishwasher pod and very few other cleaning products. At this rental price renters should not have to stock the cleaning supplies.

The washer and dryer are too small for the house and the dryer did not dry ther way it should. A service person was sent out and just told us there was nothing he could do. The AC also do not keep the house cool enough given how hot it was that week. Overall, the experience was good, but I don’t know that I would stay there again without knowing those issues were resolved.

The grill didn't work the first day but the staff replaced it the next so we were able to grill the rest of the week. We did receive a call that the HOA had proof we had too many guests at our house and we were driving around with 7 people on one golf cart. Obviously it was false and the issue was dropped after my rebuttal. The washer and dryer were smaller than we were hoping but we made it work. However, the golf carts were perfect for our stay getting us back and forth to the beach. We had a wonderful time despite the minor inconveniences and would book it again down the road.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Beautifully decorated. We loved it!

Hate to do it, but would be upset if someone had my experience and did not warn me. This unit made me sick. Watery, scratchy eyes, swollen throat, swollen face. As points of reference, 50 yr old male, relatively healthy, no known allergies, experienced US traveler (366 Marriott nights), work in industrial environments. In other words, I am not what one might call environmentally sensitive. The place is newly renovated. Nice, pictures accurate, loved the (2) golf carts, tons of room. Great location, 3rd stay in Sandpiper loop. But as the week progressed, it became obvious I wasn't experiencing a cold, allergies or hang over. The reaction would subside 30-45 min after leaving unit. The unit developed a noticeably stronger smell as the week went on - it permeated everything. So bad, the luggage in vehicle smelled / made me sick until we got home and away from or washed everything that had been in the house. Wont speculate and my companion who does have allergies and is more sensitive, was irritated by the smell, but she didn't develop the reactions. But if you or your kids experiencing what is too easily written off at the beginning of your trip as a cold or simple allergy - see what happens when you get fresh air for an hour. Don't unknowingly make yourself miserable, rationalizing the issue away, like we did.

This was the PERFECT place to stay for our group of 7, with plenty of room to spare.
