Stayed Jan 30, 2026Warning, old office so there are NO CLOSETS or anywhere to hang your clothes. Week of our Nashville trip, electricity was down in patches due to a winter storm. I asked about the house for days before and they told me it was out but maybe not by the time we got there. (I think they thought I was talking about downtown, instead of the house.) It’s almost a 5 hour drive and they won’t tell me if it had electricity. Finally they tell me the house had electricity the Wednesday before. When our first couple got there it was 59 degrees on one side. We messaged them and were told it needed to warm up. It never did. Heat didn’t work on one side of the apartment in 14 degree weather. It never got over 64 after turning the other unit up to 84. They said someone would come Saturday am, but didn’t get there until 4pm. Whole AC/heat unit was old from 1998 according to the HVAC man. Unit needed to be replaced. Whole place is cold and drafty. No plugin at the coffee bar that could reach, had to get an extension cord to use the coffee pot. No plug ins in one bathroom. I was texting VRBO for hours over multiple days to get help. They wanted pics of the thermostat, over several hours so several hours of our vacation was wasted. Never once did the owner apologize, never brought us heaters, never did a thing. We ended up buying heaters at Walmart to keep the larger living space we could all fit in and our bedroom warm. WiFi password was wrong. Overall, horrible experience.

Stayed Dec 26, 2025The house was nice and clean. However, we are very disappointed because we did not have hot water. We could not take a shower for 3 days. That was awful. We are now 11 stinky people in a van driving 4 hours back to Alabama. Also, one of the bathroom door was not closing but of course our biggest concern is the hot water.

Stayed Oct 2, 2025The location is great. 7-10 min walk to Broadway. It’s a little hilly but easily doable if in average health. Had a maintenance issue that the host was responsive too. Overall the place was clean & met all of our needs. Several cosmetic issues that are very noticeable not seen in pictures on Vrbo but easy to overlook when you consider the location and keep in mind it was an office before. We didn’t spend a lot of time there so not a big deal to us. The living area towards back of the building had space for 6 to sit. We did opt to pull a chair from the hallway. The sitting area at the entrance didn’t accommodate 6 unless you sit on wicker ottoman. It is a converted office building so the layout is different but functional. Downside was lots of glass windows interiorly so any lights turned on in hallways is seen in bedrooms. One of the BR’s had glass doors so it was really an issue for the couple in there. I suggest the host use blackout curtains on all interior glass, the high ones too, or take eye coverings if you’re a light sleeper. The bathroom with green counter doesn’t have a power outlet. The bedroom across the hall from that bathroom is said to be a queen bed but is likely a full/double. It’s smaller than the others. Do not parking under the trees, the sap was all over our cars and doesn’t come off easily. But there’s a hose there we used to wash off. take extension cords with multiple plugs, very few in bedrooms accessible. Regardless we’d definitely stay here again!!!

Stayed Aug 30, 2025Was recently remodeled. Not a lot of attention to detail. Was a decent place to stay, but stove and washer/dryer didn't work!
