This property was so unique with its beauty and complete solitude. Our family of 18 enjoyed every second at Inks Ranch. The lake outback provided us with hours of entertainment and relaxation. It was fun hiking in the early morning and exploring the property. The house was well equipped with everything you would need. We will defiantly come back to this hidden gem.
The property is just what our family loves, outdoor experiences galore. Our host was very helpful & considerate. We have reserved this property again for 2023.
I rented this property with a large group of friends from college, and the property couldn’t not have been a better place to reconnect! The lake provided us with lots of activities and the privacy of the location was awesome for a large group.
Beautiful surroundings. We hiked, fished, and swam. Thoroughly enjoyed our family time together. Hope to make it back one day.
We have stayed in dozens of places all over the United States and this place has to be in our top 3 of all time. The property is amazing and makes you feel like you're in a State Park and have it all to yourself. There were six adults who stayed here for three nights. The sleeping arrangements were a little odd and left something to be desired, however that's not why you come to place like this. You need to come in knowing the house will be a little run down and primitive but the views, the hiking and the wildlife are what makes this place so special. We loved this place and made memories that will last a lifetime.
Perfect for our family. We’ve already booked it again for next year!
Stay was amazing. House was clean and spacious. Plenty to do for everyone. My whole family had fun all weekend. They are alreadyvasking to go back soon.
I made this reservation for a family reunion. Unfortunately, my husband suddenly fell ill and we could not go. The rest of the family did go and they loved the place. These are some things they told me: great water and swimming, wonderful hiking, lovely lighting at night over the water, best stocked place they have ever stayed, loved drink cooler, said it was in the middle of nowhere, which they liked, enjoyed the wildlife, boats for adults and children. All want to go back next year. One thing: one of the couples turned around when they went through an entrance that said private property, no trespassing. It seems you do go through that property. They did eventually get there after calling other family that was already there. Probably should mention this in the directions - or maybe it was stated and they missed it. As I said, I was not actually there. But, next year we will be!
We brought everything, but the cabin was full stocked (water, condiments, spices, toiletries). The mountain is beautiful, easily accessed and climbable by even the children (with supervision). The lake was the highlight for the kids, who wanted to be in all day. Wonderful family vacation!
This is at the top of our list of favorite places we've stayed! We explored on the mountain, kayaked and fished in the pond, fed and watched the animals, and so much more! The house was neat, clean, and had everything we needed!
