Stayed May 31, 2025This Rustic Retreat was located in a spot between everything we wanted to do. 30min from Yosemite Valley or Mariposa Grove. Seven miles from tunnel view. Price, location and amenities were ideal making it a perfect base camp for rest, meals, and family time.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024This is a great place to stay when visiting Yosemite. We spent 3 days looking around Yosemite Valley, Wawana, Tenaya Lake and other areas around Yosemite. While the decor and facilities are more on the vintage side, the cabin has everything you need for a short stay. We cooked twice and everything we needed was there. The balcony is a great place to sit out and chat in the evening and the living room is a fantastic indoor space. The washer/dryer are amazing. The shower is a bit weak but good enough. We went in Summer and the air conditioning provided welcome relief from the 37c/99f temperatures outside. The location is perfect and we even saw a couple of bears on Henness Ridge Drive. We really enjoyed our stay in Yosemite and Rustic Retreat provided the ideal place to stay while we were there.
