The property is secluded and incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed sitting next to the pond under the covered swing while the rain fell all around us. The home is clean, but the master bedroom does have a slight musty smell - there don't appear to be any leaks anywhere. It's a little drive to cell/internet service, but we appreciated the down time. The only downfalls to the property was that there weren't many board game/entertainment options for rainy indoor days. We were very surprised to find that there were only a few half empty rolls of toilet paper in the home, so we had to drive to a store to purchase supplies for our stay. It was a pleasant stay and we LOVED Manzana's in town!
The house was just as beautiful in person as in the pictures! We enjoyed the house and immediate yard/location of the property....however, the busy highway is directly across from the small lake/pond so we heard and saw the traffic all day while sitting around the bon fire. Also noticed many flying and dead bee's inside. This is not a negative review by any means, but i do wish i knew about the highway before we got there.
Such a BEAUTIFUL location. Off the main roads enough to wear you don’t have traffic nor do you hear much of it but easy to get to the main road and get into town for whatever you may need. The house is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and makes for a relaxing getaway.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and well furnished. No AC however the breeze off Tower Pond kept the house cool, along with the fans. Definitely reccomend booking this house!
Very cozy and quiet place to stay! House was amazing and beautiful. We plan to stay here again since we have family in the area.
Great place to unplug and relax. Very roomy inside and the property is beautiful
This cabin is GORGEOUS! It’s so spacious inside, and it’s fully stocked, from the kitchen to the closets with extra pillows and blankets. My aunt and i stayed here for two nights, and sadly we didn’t get to spend more time in the cabin, since we were out from sunrise to midnight! But the time we DID spend in it was wonderful. 5 stars!
This is a beautiful cabin with amazing woodworking. They were missing a coffee maker, within 2 hours we had a new one delivered. A must stay cabin.
Everything was wonderful about the setting except the road noise across the pond all day and all night. It was also too warm in the house to only have fans for cooling.
If you want to relax and get away, this may be your place to stay. Bring bug spray.
Great central location for our trip up north! All the major locations were around 30-60 minutes away (except Traverse City which is 2 hours away). We enjoyed days in relaxing around the campfire and coming back after a long day of exploring.
