We really enjoyed our stay in Casa dell' Olivo. The house is in a beautiful location with fantastic views across the valley & is fully equipped with everything needed for a holiday. Jennifer was very friendly & helpful both before we arrived & whilst we were there. We were made to feel welcome & the goodies left for us - wine, limoncello, lemon marmalade & home grown fruit - were very much appreciated. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit - Lucca, Camaiore including the Lido, Montecatini Terme & Montecatini Alto, the mountain villages above Lucca etc. If we ever return to this part of Italy, this property will be our first choice & we will be recommending it to our friends & family. We and our two children stayed at Casa dell'Olivo in June 2015. The house has authentic tuscan style and is very nice, well kept and clean. It has a nice roofed terrace for a breakfast with a splendid view and a nice garden. The house is very suitable for families with a generous and well equipped kitchen, 2 big airconditioned bedrooms and safety grids at the stairs. The garden is also very convenient for kids, it is surrounded by a fence and has a lot of space to play soccer, put up a pool or relax. You will enjoy a great view over the valley and peace and privacy up in the hills. The Mallegni's are great hosts. Jennifer is very flexible and always approachable. The house we inquired on for instance wasn't available for the whole time so we mailed back and forth with Jennifer until she found a solution for us. We booked very spontaneously and outside of the usual Saturday-to-Saturday cycle and didn't pay until we got there. The Family also is very friendly and helpful, Signor Mallegni returned the ball our 2year-old kicked over the fence more than 3 times :) and let our son sit on the family tractor that he was absolutely excited about. Camaiore is well situated as a home base for trips into Tuscany. The beach in Lido de Camaiore is very nice and the public area quite sufficient. The house is seated beautifully in the hills, surounded by olive trees. Driving steep hills should better be no problem ;) The value for money for this house is very good. We will be back next year and can recommend the house without restraints.

We have been in this house in June-July 2014. The house is on a hill. We liked everything. Very nice quiet place. Large house with thick stone walls. Air conditioning is there, but we had no need to include it. The house has always been cool. Rooms are spacious. The house is very clean. Beautiful garden overlooking the Camaiore. If you walk a little further, you can see the sea. The owners are always responsive. But you should understand that you can only get there by car and the road to the sea takes 20-30 minutes. We were very happy with our stay in this place.

I spent some days in this wonderful contryhouse with a friend to enjoy all the delights of Tuscany and it is difficult to describe with words how incredible this house is, but I will do my best. The accommodation is located in the top of a hill in the town of Camaiore. The views from there are wonderful, you can see all the hilly landscape and even the sea in the horizon! There is a terrace where you can enjoy the tweets of the birds meanwhile you are taking a coffee. In the groundfloor you will find a living room and a kitchen ande the 1st and 2nd floor there is a bedroom and a bathroom in each floor. The house is decorated with nice rustic furniture. Basically, we found what we saw in the web, the photos reflect pretty well how the house is. The equipment is really complete and we did not miss any household appliance. We also appreciate to find a immaculate cleanness when we arrived. Other point we liked is that the house counted with mosquito nets, so we could sleep taking fresh air without worries. And the one, but not the least assesment: the host will make you feel at home and she was really pleased to answer whatever we asked and gave some recomendations to us, so we could discover the region in a deeper way!
