This is an older home but my husband and I love historical sites and we absolutely loved this home. They provided us with all the cleaning supplies needed throughout our stay. Enough paper tissue, and towels as well. We have rented one other home in the earea and had to buy towels, toilet tissue, and cleaning supplies to clean while in the home. The earea is quiet and most beautiful place. Thank you for having us ans we will return. s
Perfect for us! We all came from different states and met here for the holiday! Plenty of room and comfortable!
I loved the house and neighborhood. Owner was great and promptly responded to my text. Dealing with Evolve was not an enjoyable experience. I will avoid properties managed by Evolve in the future.
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this place. The blind in the bathroom just collapsed, and it's clear that whoever installed it was too careless to do it properly. They even put it up upside down and couldn't be bothered to remove the old bracket and use the correct one. I had to go out and buy duct tape just to MacGyver a trash bag over the window to maintain some semblance of privacy. As for the beds, they were an absolute disaster. They all looked and felt like rejects from a secondhand furniture store. Unbelievably uncomfortable, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep on any of them. To top it all off, when we arrived, we discovered that ALL of the doors and many of the windows were left unlocked. This blatant disregard for security is not only frustrating but also a serious safety concern. Needless to say, my experience here has left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied.
The fish came was perfect for our group that was up from Nashville for a two day Bass Tournament. Would love to see a couple bunk beds for more occupancy but I’ll have to say the place was perfect for what’s our Group needed.
made great memories thank you hope to rent again since it near my mom house thank you
Your rustic cabin was perfect for our family! So many interesting rooms for everyone to spread out in and be comfortable! Having great outside space and walking distance to the river and park was wonderful for our grandchildern. We will be back!
From the moment you walk in you are relaxed. The beds, furniture and aminities we all very comfortable and clean. I'll be back.
The house was very nice and roomy. May need to spray for spiders and bugs though. Great location near everything.
We arrived around 9pm and entered the property to find it extremely hot. It was 84 degrees upstairs and 82 on the main level. 5 of the beds were upstairs. We had one person on oxygen and it was impossible to breathe even if you were not on oxygen. I called the contact the next day after a sleepless night to be told he would have the owner call me. He then text me his number which he didn’t answer nor did he have voicemail. I text the contact back and advised he didn’t answer and want him to call me. No one called or text back. At this time we had two more nights and 3 days left in our rental agreement. We did not hear from anyone and it took the entire rental 2 days to cool down. Saturday evening the house was finally cooling off. No response from owner or contact. This should be removed from the listing to allow anyone to rent due to no response on my complaint while we were there. Horrible and very unprofessional. If your looking for a creepy place to stay while sweating your butt off this is the place for you. I demand a refund but how is that possible when they will not return your call or text
Property was amazing
We arrived a little later, but the property was ready with easy access from the front and a long driveway in the rear, good for boats. The place was tidy and cozy. It does take some time to figure out all the light switches, but everything was in working condition. Location is great with water just a five minute walk. This area is littered with very nice pavilions near waterways and secluded picnic spots. Public boat ramps are easy to maneuver also. People we met in town were very friendly. Even saw a young bald eagle just sitting for pictures in the battlefield area. Overall, very relaxing and enjoyable.
It was very nice and relaxing!
