Stayed Feb 14, 2025The cabin was very spacious and welcoming. It was slightly snowing when we arrived during a valentine's getaway and the driveway is really long and steep so we had to shovel the snow out but thankfully they had all the supplies we needed in a little shed outside the cabin. For a cabin that is pet friendly it was really clean! There was no sign of any pets left before. Both bathrooms downstairs and upstairs were very clean and tidy, along with having extra toiletries, you couldnt run out of toilet paper or towels. The kitchen was very clean and we brought lots of food to cook with and forgot kitchen supplies but luckily the kitchen was stocked up with everything needed. Lots of pots/pans, spoons/forks, cups, everything. The house provided everything needed for a cozy weekend getaway. There was a nice fireplace and the outside was beautifully covered in snow with lots of chairs to sit on and a grill we barbecued on. The wifi and tv worked right when connected, and it was nice that the house is so private, but also only a 5-7 minute drive to local stores to get amenities from, or to go to a cute little dinner/brunch spot. We also reached out to the host and they responded in a timely manner. Cant wait to be back!

Stayed Dec 28, 2025The place is not well maintained. There are no direction on how to use things and many things are broken. All the bedding, besides the sheets and towels are too dirty to use. The kitchen is filled with useless items and missing ordinary items you would need. The drawers and shelves are disorganized. Owners should tell you what things to bring that are not present. Don’t usually complain but for this price, I expect better than minimal accommodations.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025This little cabin nestled in the woods has everything you need to have a fun mountain visit. The woods are brimming with birds! Bring your binoculars to see them from the deck. My Merlin app picked up at least 30 different birds, some of them rare for the area. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and set up well. TVs in every room and a washer and dryer provided another level of comfort and entertainment. Overall we had a great visit and our dog loved it too.

Stayed Jun 23, 2025Nice cabin with two bedrooms on first floor and one in the loft with sink and toilet. Cabin was over all clean with just some cobwebs on the window screens. Full stocked with pots and pans. Outside deck needs to be painted.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Well this is a nice cabin. It has its little repairs that might need to be looked at. But if your a normal person this is a awesome spot, great view on patio , little creek running thru, first thing I heard when I arrived. Had everything we needed. It does not have ac but ceiling fans all over and a couple portables also. There was also a portable swamp coller which we did not use. It was comfortable with windows open, I think timing is everything. All and all a great spot. I hope I can return to this cabin before the snow that the goal. Also wanted to say close to town but seemed out in the Stix, quiet,. If you know what I mean. Thankyou vacasa I will call again.

Stayed Jun 19, 2024Super cute cabin, we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it better would be air conditioning, the loft room gets warm in the evening during the summer but the multiple ceiling fans throughout the cabin helps. The driveway down to the cabin is a little steep, not a big deal in the summer but could be scary in the winter if there's snow.

Stayed Jan 21, 2023We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Deavers place- the location was convenient, but the road down was very slippy. We have a 4x4 but had to put chains on to get down. The views from the top of the drive and further down the main road were fabulous- great walk. The cabin itself was reasonable- it’s old and there are definitely signs of wear. It was fine but the shower wasn’t the best and the windows were single pane. We wish we had a lighter with us to use the wood stove- the central air did not warm up all rooms enough. Upstairs was toasty but one bedroom was freezing. The view from the upstairs was cute. Everything was good but updates to the kitchen equipment (didn’t like the plastic wine glasses) and a better shower unit would help. At the end of our stay we followed the instructions in the cabin to take the trash to the Vacasa office- we clarified with Vacasa after we had left and they told us to leave the trash in the house. Due to the need for snow chains to get back down we decided to not go back- was a little frustrating. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Stayed Jul 8, 2023This was probably a great cabin 30 years ago. But now in need of repairs. Deck is crumbling, there are notices that the water is contaminated with asbestos, and the decor looks like the throwaways at Salvation army. Unless you are desperate, avoid this place.

Stayed Feb 3, 2023This cabin is surrounded by nature. We saw a coyote and deer and found bones in the forest near the cabin. If we had not gotten fresh now there was no where to sled near the house with our 4 year old. After the fresh snow we used the driveway because it is steep. But all that fun we had sledding in the driveway is also why we got stuck. Our all wheel drive suv could not make it up the muddy slippery driveway after it had been plowed. We had to go get chains. The driveway is in desperate need of being repaved. There are cracks in the drywall in some of the rooms but mostly the upstairs loft. The central heat does not go to the 2 down stairs bedrooms and you need the space heaters. There was no hand soap or garbage bags provided. I would NOT recommend this. cabin to families with young children that just want to play in the snow. Being on my a steep hillside with a lot of trees and places to fall was not great with our kids. And while being surrounded by nature is beautiful it is also scary. One night when taking the dog out to potty she started growling at something in the dark I could not see while we were still on the deck.
