High-speed wifi! ATTENTION JUNE AND OCTOBER GUESTS! It will be chilly, and the only heat source is a wood burning stove. Keep that in mind when booking, thanks! Converted Pole-Barn into summer home, 12 minutes to Mack City and ferries. It's in the country, so you'll be driving down 3 miles of dirt roads. 10 acres all to yourself, no neighbors, fire-pits,basketball hoop, corn hole. 2 bedrooms, queen beds. Pull-out couch in living room, 2 additional couches that people tend to sleep on. Bathroom/shower/hot water, towels, linens, pillows, hot plate, cookware, utensils, coffee maker (bring your own coffee), all the basics you might need EXCEPT heat/ac and an oven. There's a half mile trail that encircles the property. Everyone that's rented so far has loved it! Most properties this size and this close to Mackinac are pricey, so this is a great deal. It's not fancy, but it's exactly what everyone comes up north for: Relaxation, laughs around the campfire, family time.

What a great secluded cabin in the woods! We enjoyed the firepit at night, the tiki bar, the nostalgic decor. We very much enjoyed our time here and hope to return.

We really needed a day or 2 more, but we knew that when we booked. There was everything we could have needed on site, even the stuff i forgot. Lol(shampoo). Plenty of fun stuff to do at the cabin for a group, and really no reason to leave if you didnt have to. Once we arrived and built a fire, there was never an issue with being warm enough. The cabin was comfy and still plenty of room to move around. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend thoroughly, and do not have anything negative to say about our stay. Thank you!

We had a great time! Location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Dog friendly with room to let them play and a great trail to walk. This is an eclectic place with pop culture Easter eggs sprinkled throughout. This was a comfortable place for a quiet weekend.

Check in was very easy and the instructions on how to best access the property were helpful. It is gravel for a few miles to get to and access the property. We enjoyed the peaceful, no city noise and lights atmosphere and the chance to connect with our children through playing games. Unfortunately, no bug spray we had worked to keep the mosquitoes away to truly enjoy the outdoor space. It's rustic, but well kept. The interior was eclectic and kept is busy looking at everything on the walls. Overall, enjoyable stay.

This property is way out in the boonies. It didn’t have gas for the grill and supposedly we were supposed to bring our own gas. Really!!! The inside had a musty smell. Cool concept but not what we were looking for.

We loved our stay at the cabin. I was a little concerned that the spotty internet would be a problem. I had some reception outside and little in the cabin. It was exactly the prompt I needed to disconnect and talk to my family. My only heads up is that the roads leading to the cabin are gravel towards the end. We had some substantial rain, which led to divots and potholes. All totally normal for the area. Had I known that, I would have considering driving my vehicle with a little more clearance.

Overall, a fun getaway. Would be better if cell service worked indoors, but otherwise good. I'd certainly go again. Nice place.

Stay was great! This place is a great location for multiple up north towns(Cheyboygan, Mackinaw City, Petoskey, Charlevoix, St Ignace and more). We went in October and the colors were absolutely stunning especially on the trail around the property.

This place is a true gem. It's close enough to the excitement of Mackinaw but far enough away for you to escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside. My family really enjoyed our stay and the recommendations from the host were top notch.

Love the trail throughout the woods on the property! High quality CD player with many good jams :) not overly fancy but exactly what you want from a northern Michigan getaway. Super close to mackinaw and beaches in the area. Communication with the host was incredible.

Last minute decision to book this place and it was well worth it. Got to hang out with family by the fire and watch the kids play in the woods. Much needed vacation only wish it was longer but next time will be.

It was great to disconnect and relax during this secluded stay. Plenty of options for fun here, we played some board games and threw on some vinyl. I’d love to see what this place is like in the fall!

Everything was great annd exactly ans described. although it was impossible to contact anyone if needed because we had absolutely zero service, (This was something the host warned us about but didn’t realize the extent of it, but we definitely didn’t and don’t fault the host what so ever) even when going into town it was very spotty if even that. Make sure to bring DVDS for kids because the ones provided are for adults mainly of the male gender. We had a few rainy days so we were stuck inside. Also - bug spray bug spray bug spray! We used spray but it was still pretty unbearable. These are just suggestions to have a more enjoyable stay. All in all though, we loved the games provided both outside and the few inside, the option to grill, have a fire, the trails and atmosphere outside were nice. We got to see the biggest snapping turtle outside in the yard during one of the rain storms so that was pretty cool. The price we paid was definitely worth the stay. Nothing fancy but a place to make memories.
