We stayed at this beautiful, private 19th century farmhouse while our son was playing at the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament in August, 2023. We absolutely loved the tucked away privacy of the property, along with it being such a charming place to come home to after a long day. What makes this place even better is the owner, Alice, who was so kind and accomodating when we had mistakenly booked an extra night. Truly a personal touch that you just won't get at a big hotel chain. Thank you, Alice for making our stay so much easier. We have fantastic memories of our time there!
The farmhouse apartment was lovely. The view was spectacular. Our VRBO pretty manager was very helpful. I recommend this for parents coming to Cooperstown to watch their child play at Dreams Park, as it was very private and secluded.
Quiet, Beautiful acreage small cottage. Isolated, works for those needing time away from lifes hassles. I used it for sleep as I was there coaching team in cooperstown. Deer everywhere, very pretty so drive down driveway slowly. Could not make calls but surprisingly internet was working on my phone for 4/5 days I was there. Looking for quiet time this is your place. Rustic may be another word to describe this cottage. Has what you need.. 5 stars
Beautiful scenery secluded from the town. On our stay we had countless deer surrounding the property along with Turkey. During my son's stay at his baseball tournament in Cooperstown, any chance he got to break away he wanted to come back to the house and explore.
The description of the property was correct. You do have to get on a dirt road to get to the property. It was an old farmhouse and it smelled like old water. The shower is very small. The property was beautiful, not another house in sight. The fields at night were twinkling with fireflies. The grounds keeper was very kind and helped us feel comfortable. I enjoyed the adventure a lot more than my friend. It definitely was not a luxury experience. It was a place to sleep and go to the bathroom.
We had a wonderful time at this property for our girls weekend! Clean, bright and just the right amount of antique charm! The grounds are stunning and the location is close to Cooperstown and Brewery Ommegang.
