This cabin was a lovely space to relax.
The cabin is beautiful and spacious. It feels secluded enough but is also very close to anything you could need- grocery stores, outlets, restaurants, etc. everything from checking in to requesting late check out was seamless and convenient. We would definitely stay again next time we are in the area!
We couldn’t cook because dirty oven kept setting off smoke alarm. Fridge door broken, wouldn’t seal so kept making loud noises as it tried to cool down. We had to keep our bedroom door closed to block the sound. However the bedroom floor(or door) was warped and made loud noises when used so we heard loud noises anyhow whenever we left the room. Games were missing pieces, dishes chipped, broken glass in chandelier and the 10 digit door code was practically impossible to open in the few seconds allowed to enter it. I texted Vacasa when we arrived that we couldn’t unlock the door but it took them so long to respond we finally unlocked after numerous attempts. I also notified Vacasa of the oven issue during our stay with no response. This place is over priced for the quality of the stay.
A lovely setting in North Conway with a layout that suited our family of 5. Plenty of sleeping space, nice open concept area, and bonus finished basement gameroom. The cabin was a great base for our adventures this summer.
The stay started with the batteries in the door lock dead and unable to operate. After going back and forth with Vacasa someone finally texted so that I could get the code for the back-up lockbox. It was a lot of time outside the house waiting. It allowed us to see the terrible shape of the exterior with paint peeling off the deck, rotten wood, and a very poor appearance. Very frustrating. Upon entry we discovered a broken bathroom sink faucet. After being there for a bit we discovered that not a single TV remote worked. The walls and interior were very worn with peeling paint, damaged wood and most concerning was a section of damaged wood flooring on which I cut my foot. All of these concerns were photo documented and sent to the rental company. Beautiful area, but the house looks NOTHING like the online listing. Don’t waste your money here.
My husband and I stayed at this quaint little home. It was clean and ready for us to use. When we first arrived we could not see the house number as it blended in with the tree it was on and a bit above eyesight. Once we were there we didn't miss it again. It did snow. There was salt to put on the stairs and a shovel if needed. We explored town and the shops. We were there between ski season and spring season, so not much to do. We did get much needed rest and time away from work and home
Had a great experience. The house was as described, very clean, and spacious. The game room was great and allowed for privacy for another guest. Great location. The check in process had a hiccup but it was resolved quickly. My only gripe is that there were no basic spices, salt and pepper and sugar, in the kitchen, which are pretty common things. Other than that, it was great. Highly recommend.
Great location and home! My only complaints are that the entry way was not properly cleared or salted making it very difficult to navigate safely in and out of the home and also the remote controls for the tvs did not work. We had to download Roku app to conte TVs.
Location is great, house was a big enough size for our family but was not overly thrilled. House smells like smoke the second you walk in and it’s a smell that does not go away. Sheets smelled as if they were left in the washer overnight. We have stayed many places in the white mountains and this would be my least favorite. Would not rent again.
My husband and I really really love this little place I’m so glad we found it! It is in a really convenient location, Walmart and the local Hannaford‘s grocery store is maybe a five minute drive and all of the other Touristy type things are also super close. It’s in a perfect central location. I cannot stress the natural beauty of this place enough. We walked down to the brook every day and it was just beautiful. You had everything you need in the house to prepare meals as well so we didn’t have to eat out. It felt very safe and private and I also noticed they fixed issues others had complained about in previous reviews. There is now a TV in the living room along with blinds for privacy. While I’m not trying to complain about the beds, because that really is a personal preference , I will say if you have any back or neck issues the bed in the master is kind of on the hard side so plan accordingly for that. Otherwise absolutely perfect stay. ❤️❤️
