Stayed Jan 27, 2026The host and amenities were great, but it was the house itself that was so wonderful. We saw so many birds (hummingbirds, finches, doves, a really cool roadrunner) and bunnies and even a couple of coyotes hanging out on couch in the morning looking out the window. The house is halfway between high desert hiking (Morongo, Pioneertown, Joshua tree, 29 Palms…)and Palm Springs (the art museum was super, Indian Wells, Whitewater canyon) and Palm Desert offers numerous mineral hot springs offering day passes. And then there is the house, which is sort of magical all by itself. Lovely. Thank you.

Stayed Jan 22, 2026The house is beautiful… However there is mold. In the very front utility closet. And the owner is in denial. You can smell it in the air vents. And when I have addressed it with the owner she says I am lying. I have pictures and I have submitted them. Mold causes respiratory infections, sure as pneumonia and other dangerous health conditions. Trying to come to a resolution.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025Truly the most relaxing weekend. The house was so interesting, the grounds and wildlife were amazing. We sat for hours on the patio just watching the birds, bunnies, chipmunks, etc.

Stayed Nov 28, 2024What a special place! We loved the architecture, collectibles, cactus garden, and peacefulness. We made a big Thanksgiving feast here, and it was a perfect setting and the (round) kitchen, though cosy, had everything necessary included great oven and induction cooktop. Then we enjoyed a few quieter days and it was an equally wonderful place to unwind. The views of the sunrises, sunsets, and lively garden are amazing. A few practical notes: The sleeping areas include 2 private bedrooms, a huge camping room with several beds and more mattresses, and another listed bedroom with 2 twins that is actually the passageway into the bunk room. There is no dishwasher. One suggestion - add a fire pit on the beautiful front terrace! Thanks much for sharing your amazing home!

Stayed Nov 24, 2024This is our second girls trip to the round house and we simply love it here. There is lots of space, so you can either nap in your room while watching the critters outside or you can do puzzles in the main room gazing through the panoramic window. Super relaxing. (Also if you have time, hit a hot springs spa and the Cabot Pueblo Museum.)

Stayed Oct 12, 2024Rolling up to this place, I was worried I was lost. It's pretty far north of Palm Springs proper (25 minutes), it's on a dirt road in a quasi-suburban neighborhood, and the house is set pretty far back from the road. But once we found it and got inside, the kids were pumped. While somewhat dated, the home has lots of space and interesting/weird details that make it fun. The furniture is mod and eclectic, as is the decor (and these are good things). Some of the spaces are cramped - and it was hard to figure out how to use the cook top - but the A/C and fans worked great and the beds were comfortable. Everyone loved the wildlife that's right out the door - the pheasants were a big hit. The adults loved the nice outdoor space and the kids loved the huge bedroom with beds for everyone. And the home design is surprisingly interesting - I kept noticing little details even after a couple of days. If I had to complain, we got tired of bumping into things in the smaller bathroom, and we found some bugs inside. But nothing we couldn't handle, and travel is an adventure. Suffice to say, if you're looking for a big and fun/kooky place not too far from Palm Springs, you found it.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024My family loved our stay! The glass house was so unique and spacious- plenty of room for the kids to relax in their own space with our down time. The views were amazing and we loved walking up every morning to look for the wildlife in the yard. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. This was the perfect location for our travel plans!

Stayed Jul 16, 2024Nice house , cool design and pleasant outdoor space . Nice place to relax and good vibes . BUT we were NOT the only ones enjoying the house … we would find ROACHES in the restroom , dead and alive ( mostly live ones , 4-6 a day) , at least you had company whilst showering or doing your business!!! One of the shower drains also did not drain , leaving an ankle deep flood in the shower with long female hair coming out of the drain later ( we were 7 guys with short hair ) . The host was almost non existent, with no ability to contact them whether it be text or phone . It’s a very nice house but a lot of other stuff unfortunately overshadowed the good parts .

Stayed Jun 7, 2024This house has it all! Equipped with everything you’ll ever need, great views, and an all around Fun house! A great bonus part of the experience was just exploring the inside of the house. Many quirky features due to the design, but that made it all the more enjoyable. Jane is an excellent host and very communicative. She lets you enjoy your visit, but is available if you have any questions. Instructions were very clear. Neighborhood was very quiet and no one bothered us.
