Stayed Apr 16, 2023The property was very pretty, and being on the canal was a plus. We definitely didn't know linens were not included until right before we arrived. I'm not one to complain much, especially on vacation, but managing 9 people, and the first night, the oven doesn't work. And the second day, the repair man just walks into the house, unannounced and without warning to check to see if the foul odor was gone from the washing machine (we had not called this in and were a bit startled, considering we had small children around). And that's when the oven issue was brought to his attention, and then I had to call and place a work order in for him to come back and fix it. Like I said, the place was lovely, but we felt we spent a good deal of money to accommodate quite a few people and it was a bit of a bummer. We'll stay elsewhere if we vacation on the island again.

Stayed May 14, 2017Very nice house, plenty of parking. Big back patio and pool area, great to hang out around. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. 3rd floor big enough for 2 more air mattresses comfortably with another full bath. Could not have picked a better location for our trip.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic house and pool! The location is great, just far enough away from the main drag to be peaceful but no more than 10 minutes by golf cart or bike from everything. We loved every minute of our vacation in this special place!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is nice, but for the price point, the kitchen is definitely under-stocked. Also there is no screened-in porch - a must-have for this island! However the kids did enjoy having the pool, which was instant entertainment. Rental through Ocracoke Island Realty is always a breeze, and friendly too!
