I loved the privacy, and the view of mountains.

Everything was spectacular. The property was even more beautiful than the photos show and the interior possibly has had some upgrades. Overall exceeded expectations. Very pet friendly, beautiful backyard where we spent a lot of time, beautiful landscaping, great views (especially during golden hour when the sun is starting to lower), plus awesome hot tub. Secluded and romantic while still being in a cute neighborhood- and within 10min to downtown Asheville. Lots of nice touches like coffee table books about NC, lists with local recommendations by host (including dog friendly recommendations!), dog bowls, board games, robes for guests in bedroom closet, etc. Interior layout was unique, cozy, inviting, and relaxing. Also very clean especially for being dog friendly you would never know dogs stay there- I would stay here without a pet! Tranquility.

This was such a cute cottage with a lovely yard. It's conveniently located to downtown Asheville, the River Arts District and hiking trails. It was great to have our dogs with us and they had a great time lounging in the yard. Highly recommend!

Perfection!! One of those homes where you wish the walls could talk. Beautiful blend of original house with every update you would want. Back yard is stunning in every way.

We love this property and visit as often as we can. The cottage is amazing and the scenery can’t be beat. The host of a always available if needed and will fix any problems if they arise. Highly recommend.

Good host, great amenities, cool view !

The home was completely cozy and inviting and clean as a whistle. We love the location and the property actually has a feeling of being secluded. Our two dogs absolutely loved the back yard and we felt completely secure for them!I have one suggestion for benefit of folks like us who stayed in and cooked all our meals- the kitchen was missing just a couple essentials. A big pot to boil pasta water, a measuring cup, a few more glasses and dishes, plated and bowls. Just a suggestion.We will be returning for sure!

We loved the property. Especially the bear that visited us at the back door. :-). The house was very clean, and could tell the owner takes great pride with their property.

Great fenced yard for our dog to go out and enjoy. We were so glad to be able to bring her with us. The hot tub was a wonderful amenity and easily accessible from the bedroom. Loved the interior of the house with such a large kitchen and two full baths. So many extras and beautifully decorated!

This is a wonderful unique property that’s conveniently located to everything you would want to do in Asheville! It’s a great bonus that it is pet friendly and the host is responsive and all the extra little touches were just darling! I would definitely recommend and we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage! Located in a private, quiet area minutes from downtown Asheville. We loved that we could bring our dog as the entire property is fenced. The hot tub was great after hiking each day!

The property was pet friendly. The house is great. We did not use the hot tub, but the room or the cottage could’ve been cleaner, including the refrigerator

We loved the pet friendly property!! It was such a nice place to stay during a hectic wedding weekend. Although I give the place 5 stars, please note the mattress is VERY firm. So if you like a firm mattress—great news! If not—be prepared (and maybe pack a mattress topper :) ) thank you so much for having us—we will definitely keep this place in mind if we come back to the Asheville area!

This was our fourth visit and once again the home was well kept, and clean. Dogs enjoyed side yard as we enjoyed the hot tub and porch. Perfect location for easily exploring Asheville and all of WNC. We will return for our fifth visit soon.

The property is secluded but not far from town. The hot tub was nice and the house is in great shape. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Our little girl (dog) loved running around the yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate and well-stocked for cooking. The yard was very private and great for our dog. We enjoyed the view The host was very helpful before we booked to help us find a place yhat could accommodate a trailer and motorcycle. It was perfect.

We had a wonderful visit in this adorable house. The kitchen is well stocked. The patios are shaded and have lovely chairs. Great Wi-Fi access and easy access into town and close to lots of grocery stores. Very responsive owners. We had a fabulous time!!

We stay here every year with our dogs. It’s a good location, nice house, fenced-in yard and hot tub. Short drives to restaurants, hiking and biking. Highly recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. A huge plus to find such a good spot that allowed our two dogs. Perfect proximity to downtown without being in the mix of it. Well maintained properly inside and out.

Absolutely beautiful home! Highly recommend for anybody wanting a romantic getaway.

We came here for my birthday and for a getaway from life. The place was absolutely perfect and private. It was close to all the stores you would need and downtown. If you want a place with privacy this is forsure it. Only downfall would be if they provided more towels and would give access to washer and dryer. We only had access to 4 bath towels, which meant we had to reuse the towels after getting out hot tub and shower. But other than that, great place and would forsure comeback.

Beautiful house just a few minutes outside of town, perfect spot for enjoying all that Asheville has to offer while still offering a relaxing quiet getaway feel.

This property was a great find! Recommend 10/10, especially if you have pups! It's secluded, but also so close to everything. Very easy to get around. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night star gazing, and coffee in the backyard in the morning while the pups adventured around. We will definitely be returning!

This is our 3rd stay and we will be coming back for a 4th! We love how peaceful the backyard is especially since you are only 15 - 20 mins. away from downtown. The tile and hardwood in the home are one of a kind. We are also so thankful that we can bring our dog to the property.

My wife and I really loved the location of this house. Only took 10 mins to get to downtown. It was quiet and private, even though there are houses all around it. It had everything we needed. The bedroom was a little awkward with the size of the room not allowing for things like a larger bed or side tables. The host was very communicative, and was very accommodating when I screwed up the dates…twice.

It was a great place to relax with my new husband and dog after our wedding weekend in Asheville. Communication was great and it had everything we could ask for.

Wanted a quick get away for a few nights. Quiet spot with pleasant views. No one looking over you. We spent our nights grilling out, making a fire and lounging in the hot tub watching the stars. The bed is comfy, the house is well kept and cozy. Loved that the backyard was fenced in for the dogs.

This was a perfect home away from home! It was just perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs. They loved the back yard and we loved sitting out in the hot tub looking up at the stars! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the home was clean and had everything we needed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's weekend getaway at this quaint cottage! While we typically stay in downtown Asheville, this time we wanted to bring the pups and have a more relaxed weekend. This cottage was adorable and the hot tub was a perfect spot to see the twinkling mountainside in the evening or listen to the birds during the day. The layout of the primary bathrooms with the extra sink area was really nice! The bedroom is a bit small. Wish we could have had a shelf or table by the bed, but it was a very comfortable bed. The gas logs pump out some heat so it was always cozy. The pups loved the yard and wanted to be outside exploring constantly. Lots of great instructions left by the owner! We enjoyed pastries and coffee from Filo's and dinner at Jettie Rae's Oyster House during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at our VRBO in Asheville. The property has upscale features and was very clean and comfortable. The dog friendliness was much appreciated and the yard was well-fenced for our relaxation letting the dog off leash in the yard. The property location was just out of town offering convenience for going into town while providing a Quiet, safe, and relaxing respite. We would definitely recommend for any couple looking for a nice stay in Asheville!

We were so happy upon getting to this beautiful property. We planned it a long time ago for our 10 year anniversary because Asheville was the reason why we decided to move to North Carolina in the first place. The property itself is even better than the pictures! The bed was so comfortable and the towels were better than hotel quality. The view and the privacy was amazing. Our two goldens enjoyed pretending to be mountain goats on the hill of the property. We were close to everything Asheville has to offer. The kitchen provided us with all the cooking utensils we needed as well as the outdoor gas grill. Unfortunately we were there in the midst of Hurricane Helene and decided to leave early (thankfully). Tammy, our host was great with communications and even refunded us one of the days of our stay because of having to leave early. This place is a gem and we will definitely go back!!

We stayed here a few years ago and had a really nice time. It’s dog friendly but we didn’t have our dogs with us. This time, we knew we had to bring our dogs because our usual sitter was out of town. The fenced yard was great and the place was as nice as we remember! Very close to downtown but private and quiet.

We love the location; privacy and comfort. Just a short drive to pick up groceries or find restaurants. Right up the road is access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It has a quiet country feel with convenience. Fenced yard is great for pets! The covered porch is great and the open deck was wonderful for sunning or star-gazing. Our third visit to one of Tammy's properties. Will be back!!

We love this cottage. It’s modern, spotlessly clean, has an amazing backyard and is in a prime location for exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are several very good restaurants within a 10 minutes drive as well as an Ingjes supermarket. A highlight of this stay was a mama bear and her cub in the backyard. A real treat to see. Both immediately ran away once they saw me, but the host’s advice is so true - dispose of all trash in the bear proof container and supervise any pets. It’s definitely bear country. We’ll certainly return. It’s great.
