Rockmere Cottage - Classic Cape, Oceanfront

A classic home nicely perched just above the high tide line in the desirable Sand Beach section of Stonington. Enjoy superb water frontage in this rustic and charming seaside cottage just a mile from the village and a short walk to Sand Beach.Rockmere has a kitchen that is well stocked with all kinds of gadgets from toasters to coffee makers. Rockmere is comfortable for 4-5 people and is perfect for a family that’s looking to detach and enjoy the more simple things in life. The cottagehas a nice living room with a wood-burning fireplace and superb views of the ocean. Rockmere has a first floor bedroom with a full bed.

The second floor of the home has three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a full bed and a dresser. The second bedroom has two twin beds, a dresser and a closet. The third bedroom has a twin bed and a dresser.

Rockmere is just feet from the ocean and is situated just above the rugged Maine coast line. Rockmere is located on the same parcel of land as Elsmere, Rockmere’s sister cottage. The two cottages share a wonderfully sandy beach, which is only accessed by three properties. Launching kayaks, beachcombing and swimming are all a must when in residence at Rockmere.
