Stayed Feb 11, 2022Wonderful cabin for a weekend getaway as we explore the surrounding area and hiking trails. Comfy bed with cozy setup for movies when it was time to chill indoors. Host was very communicative and welcoming. Directions provided was very clear. Lovely setting right at the river front.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025This was our second stay, the place is amazing. Right along the river. Very serene setting and the house has everything you need. It is also very close to my sister so I look forward to future stays.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024We had a blast- great location, great views, great fishing, and great overall experience. WiFI was great. We did several hikes in area and fished a lot. We will be back!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024Riverside Retreat was an amazing little weekend getaway. Great for a couple or small group. We caught over 75 fish in 2 days!! Saw a bald eagle land right behind the cabin on a rock in the river, ate at great local restaurants, and chatted with some wonderful locals and visitors. We will definitely be back and tried to already book for next year but 2025 is not available yet. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great relaxing weekend to fish, hike, relax, etc. We had an amazing weekend and will book an extra night next time!

Stayed Feb 16, 2024King bed in bedroom was a nice surprise. Still plenty of space in the room. Teenagers found the sleeper sofas comfortable. Rhododendrons and hemlock trees around the cabin were beautiful with snow. Nice view from inside cabin of the clear rocky bottom stream. Kitchen etc had everything we needed. Thank you!
