This is the cutest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful location, comfortable furniture, excellent indoor and outdoor hang spaces. A true gem!

We loved staying here! I loved the river access it was perfect for swimming and the many adventures my sons made-up. We cooked at the house every morning and almost every night and it had everything we needed. We loved the fires and hot tub at night and caught fireflies with the kids. Thanks so much for creating one of our best summers.

Our family had what may have been the best trip ever here. The home was spacious with generous supplies stocked. The view was amazing, and the surroundings peaceful. The beds were comfy and the home well kept and clean. We will be back.

This is the best place we have ever stayed at! The house was immaculate and the owner thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. We had an issue getting inside when we got there (it was my fault) and the owner contacted us right away to help. We spent mornings on the porch looking over at the Watauga River and nights at the fire pit and hot tub. The owner even left a fairy scavenger hunt and my daughter had the best time with it! The area is peaceful and beautiful! We saw a doe and a fawn every morning on the property. We have stayed at a lot of places when we have come to the mountains in the past and I have never wanted to return to them, but this one is one I will return to every year if it’s available!

We spent a week at the cabin for Christmas. The host had decorated the cabin and provided a tree which was amazing. It was easy to find , has a steep driveway but perfectly doable. Fire put down by the river , Smores kit provided. Jacuzzi was clean and warm. Cabin was well equipped , spacious living room. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. 3 adults 2 kids. Plenty to do for all. Very clean, comfy beds and easy check in/out. The view was awesome, hot tub fabulous and s'mores pack greatly appreciated. We used the kayaks, although out in is a bit difficult. Wish we had 2 cars so we could have put kayaks in up stream. They do have a small trailer to transport the kayaks if needed. Firewood provided. Kids loved climbing on the rocks by the river and there was a cute tree house/play set for the kids. Definitely recommend

Beautiful home and location! We spent a nice evening and dinner around the fire pit on the deck. Despite rain on the second day we were still able to enjoy the big porch and make the short drive to Boone for a little shopping. We look forward to coming back next summer and staying for a few days to kayak and enjoy the river. Highly recommend this home!

My husband, his parents, and our kids (2.5 and 5.5) had a wonderful stay here! It is a gorgeous house, both well decorated and well appointed. Everyone was comfortable. It was a little too chilly to fully utilize the river but I can see it being a great place to play in the summer months. The hot tub was perfect! Great location - an easy drive to Grandfather mountain, Tweetsie railroad and downtown Boone, among other things.
