Riverfront Paradise w/ Pool, Spa & Tennis Court

I will start off by saying that I have never left a bad review for anything, ever. However, this booking was such a disappointment that I feel the need to warn others so the same thing does not happen to anyone else. The pictures you are seeing online are not an accurate representation of the current look and feel of the house. To be fair, I will say that bedrooms seemed clean and updated, although not upscale considering the price tag for 3 nights. The main issue was that the house was anything but shiny and new the way it seems in the pictures posted. It is old and worn and smells it also. The wood siding is faded, the fencing is all broken and cracked and missing in places. There are cob webs on the house at every turn throughout the exterior. Upon entry you will find the main living quarters are practically original structurally. Baseboards are dirty. The kitchen cabinets are original 70’s/80’s cabinets that are quite off putting on the inside. They have 2 older model refrigerators neither of which creates ice or water. The spiral staircase they show in their photos is actually steep & tight unlike what it’s made to seem in the photos. There is another staircase from the game room area to the backyard that is so wobbly that it could break at any second. Very dangerous. All of the outdoor deck is chipped and broken as is the patio furniture broken and tattered. Honestly, the house just isn’t at all like what you would expect from the listing.

This rental property is truly one-of-a-kind, featuring a stunning creek that flows through the backyard. The large rocks, majestic oak trees, and vibrant green moss create an enchanting atmosphere, making it one of the most remarkable places I've ever visited. The house itself has been beautifully remodeled, with expansive windows that seamlessly connect you to the surrounding nature. Additionally, the tennis court and picnic area reflect the original owner's thoughtful design and genuine love for the property. We can't wait to return in the summer to take advantage of the pool and enjoy the warmer weather!

Very nice property, very clean. Nicely furnished. Some issues that we would not expect at that high price point: clogged kitchen sink, fireplace didn’t work, hot tub had to be turmned on remotely by owners and it didn’t heat up adequately, one of the arcade games was broken. Caution if bringing little kids: spiral stairs dangerous for small children as is the location by the creek. But charming setting for adults and the house came with a child gate that could be used to close off access to the stairs from above which was very much appreciated. Overall it was a very nice property in a beautiful setting.

Our entire family of. 17 was comfortably accomodated with five bathroom/bedroom suites. Large well designed kitchen, dining areas, laundry, and gameroom. Unclear what caused widespread ant infestation. Facility was clean and located in a beautiful wooded area, so ants will always be in the area. Temperatures were above 102 degrees, so great to have the pool and adequaie indoor activities. The use of an excellent tennis court was limited by the heat during the day and by a misdirected court light at night which will be easily adjusted. Although we received a gracious welcoming text message from our host, he failed to receive my repeated requests for addressing these ptoblems. His apology came too late, as he only saw the messages on the morning of our departure. Despite our dissatisfaction with this issue, we had so many options fhat our gathering was a tremendous success. We were able to accomplish our primary goal of being together, although with the inability of our grandchildren to play with our very special dog being perhaps our greatest disappointment. A dog house and the placement of fence posts lacking the final fencing suggest that future guests may have a better option for pets. All of our concerns should be easily correctable.

We enjoyed the house and all it had to offer

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was close to Yosemite. Had a great time using the pool, hot tub, and pool table. There we some issues with the hot tub and the water pressure at the house but they were addressed quickly.

This house was as described and the finishes were very nice. Our extended family of 10 was comfortable in the 5 en suite bedrooms. There were a few maintenance issues in our stay which we will communicate to the host, but overall this is a great place to stay for visiting Yosemite and Bass Lake.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property!! It was the perfect house for our farewell weekend. The amenities are super well maintained. The only downside was that the beds were not comfortable and the pillows way too thick and hard. But besides that, the house is fully equipped with everything you could think of, and beyond. Would highly recommend it!!

Stayed with a group of 15 friends for a guy's retreat weekend. Property lived up to the hype. Great location, super easy to check-in/out and fantastic times had by all. The tennis court was especially fun as we played pickleball late into the night under the lights. Would recommend for a big group trip.

Nice location for a Yosemite trip, House was clean, beds were all comfortable and we enjoyed our time here. Pool and Hot tub were great. Definitely a nice place!
