Plenty of room for 10 as long as you are ok with some staying in cottage. Plenty of room for us to together. Party barn was great except heat could not warm area up to be comfortable in the winter. In the main house it's a trip to get to the top of the steps with all the luggage etc. We had small issue with access to small cottage but management was quick to resolve issue. Water froze on the morning of our departure. Management responded to that quickly. Overall great trip hot tub was great and everything was clean. We had blast...
This small rental is located in a cozy valley directly next to a babbling creek with beautiful scenery. Though located near other cabins, it's private and away from a lot of traffic. We had a lovely time, but there were several things that did take away from the trip. 1. Location of the driveway is quite a trip to the front door. Be aware that you must climb several sets of steps to get to the entrance. It made for a tricky trip between the car toting luggage and coolers. We knew this was the case so weren't surprised, but just be aware someone with difficulty climbing stairs will have a hard time. 2. Much smaller space than anticipated. It's known that most listings take photos specifically to make the space appear larger, but we were truly shocked how small the home was. There were four adults and one child in the main cabin, which made for cramped space. The listing is a bit misleading with the 3 bathroom detail. There is a full-sized bathroom on the main level, but the upstairs is a half bath, no shower, with slanted ceilings making the room very cramped. We bumped our heads multiple times and had a difficult time moving in the small space. It made for a tricky time for showers, having to take turns and wait for the main level shower. The upstairs bedroom is also quite small with slanted ceilings causing us to bump our heads a few times. 3. Multiple repairs and shoddy construction work. The upstairs bathroom had a separate bowl sink which was completely unattached causing water to pour down the back of the sink. There was no caulking or anything to seal down the sink. The doors did not fit correctly in the doorframes causing the doors to stick and not properly close. One of the cabinet doors was hanging off the hinge. Just a few areas we noticed in need of repair. 4. Poor cleaning prior to arrival. Most dishes we had to rewash as they had food and drink stains in the cups/plates. 5. Party barn and separate quarters was definitely a bonus! The barn portion had a nice, spacious living area- much bigger than the main cabin. Nice, renovated bathroom with standing shower. Two queen beds in the bedroom, nice and spacious. The party barn was a fun addition with ping pong table and arcade games. Overall we had a great stay, but likely would not return with our party size. The views and lovely location made up for a lot of the issues. We enjoyed time around the firepit and enjoying the creek and scenery. We did have to contact Vacasa on arrival as our door code did not work. They were very prompt and professional, great customer service.
Family of 6 (ages 10-49). Was relaxing for all and entertaining for the smaller ones. The party barn is a major plus for kids as well as adults. We will definitely book again.
My family and I had a wonderful stay. Hosts were easy to get a hold of and they allowed for an early check in. The property is lovely and spread out. The cleanliness of the party barn left a bit to be desired but they offered to send out a cleaning crew. I had already taken care of it however. We loved the fire pits, hot tub, and listening to the stream. Both the guest house and the main house had ample sitting areas to eat and have lazy conversation afterwards. We also hiked by the Swinging Bridge and Amicolola Falls, both of which were lovely. Overall, a wonderful trip and property. We hope to return one day!
Beautiful setting for a family to kick back and enjoy time together.
We had an incredible weekend here. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures and so peaceful. The main house was perfect for preparing meals and just relaxing and the cabin and game room was perfect for the other half of our party of 8. Everything on property is set up perfectly. picnic tables in the shade. Chairs along the creek. Hot Tub outside the side door. Kitchen was great and opened to the sitting room in front, was a great place for us all to be together and have coffee. We will be back for sure!
if you are looking for a mountain retreat with water flowing through it, you have found the place. Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Livia's place. There is a cabin for 6 people and a cottage for 4-5 people and a large RV garage with games and TV. The yard is very large with lots of room to play. There are 2 fire pits. There is a bench swing by the creek and a small island in the creek. There is a bridge over the creek to the main house, and another to the small island. Those are some of what is there. What you feel there is rest and relaxation and never wanting to go home. It was truly a home away from home. I wish I could bring the fresh mountain creek home with me. If we ever decide to vacation in the North part of Georgia mountains, this is definitely where we'll stay!
Scenery and babbling, clear creek is a beautiful part of this stay. Creek is loaded with trout and we caught about 15 (and released)
We loved this place! It was beautiful. Great and family friendly. Owner was responsive and helpful!
