The RiverBend House is the restorative escape you’ve been looking for. This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home sleeps 6 adults (8 total guests) and is located in a tranquil wooded community on the Deschutes River, just 6 miles south of all the amenities of Sunriver, 20 miles SW of Bend, and 20 miles SE of Mt. Bachelor.

In the winter, enjoy our kiddy sledding hill, situated right next to the house in our side yard. Or take a very short drive to Sunriver to enjoy ice skating, breweries, andmore sledding. Drive 20 miles, and you’ll be skiing down Mt Bachelor, or snow-shoeing or cross-country skiing at one of ten nearby snow parks.

In the summer, walk just two minutes out our front door, and you’ll step onto our community’s Deschutes River dock, with a view of shimmering blue mountain waters and vibrant green marsh grasses. Relax and watch the boaters and tubers pass by, or use our dock’s built-in kayak launch or the community boat launch to set off on a float yourself. More nature exploration is available just steps away on the neighborhood’s 3 miles of biking/walking paths. And the kiddos will be happy, with the pool and playground right next door. At night, we recommend venturing down to the dock to stargaze to the sounds of croaking toads and a trickling river - you’ll observe a pitch-black sky, dotted with more stars than you can imagine and striped by the Milky Way.

In the fall and spring, you’ll find yourself in a mountain biking and hiking paradise. Pine tree-lined bike and hiking trails (dirt and paved) are nearby in every direction, often with views of pristine rivers and glistening waterfalls along the way. Kids will keep busy right next door at the playground. Finally, Bend and Sunriver are less busy in the shoulder seasons, so you’ll also enjoy no wait after your ride at the brewery of your choosing!

Back at the house you can enjoy a game of pool, get cooking in our spacious modern kitchen or outdoors on the grill, and relax on the back patio surrounded by Ponderosa Pines. On a cold night, you still won’t miss those stars – we invite you to take a peek through our Celestron telescope to become engulfed by the night sky while snuggled up by the wood-burning fireplace.

The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood with a homeowner's association, so no parties are allowed at the house, and quiet hours begin each night at 10pm.
