We had a wonderful time!
Great location and loved how the lodge lacked for nothing, having a hot tub, sauna, grill, fire pit, pool table and plenty of beds. Definitely a great place to stay if you're planning a trip to Bethel, ME.
We stayed here in mid-March with a group of friends and family for skiing and relaxation. The property was very clean and cozy, with great amenities (arcade cabinet! fast internet!) I would stay here again!
The River Run lodge was perfect for a large groups of friends to ski all weekend and enjoy the Super Bowl. The Sauna and hot tub were perfect for warming up after being outside and the house slept 12 people comfortably. Also the house came with most everything you needed and after a grocery run we had no problem cooking big meals for everyone in the kitchen. Probably about a 20 minute drive to the mountain so plan for that and you are all set, would definitely stay here again highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! We had a group of 13 (8 adults and 5 littles) and there was more than enough space for all of us. We ended up going to Black Mountain for skiing/snowboarding, which was a bit of a drive but easy enough. And, we went into downtown Bethel for a lovely evening carriage ride, which was so fun! We'd recommend this property to others.
Great place Enjoyed
The house was clean and full of everything we needed. Great labels on everything so we knew how everything worked. Great space for a large group with lots of ages.
House was as listed, and very clean. Access to River for kayaking was across street, but there is a steep hill you need to decend to the river (totally doable for people without bad knees). There is also a launch site into nice lakes about 15-17 minutes away. Communication with the property manager and homeowner was impressive. There were a couple small maintenance issues (standard wear and tear fixes) that were handled within 24 hours. Upon our arrival we found the oven to be non functional (stove was 10 years old). A new stove was delivered and installed very quickly. Excellent communication and response times. Highly recommend this property as well as the management company.
