Stayed Nov 24, 2025The check-in process was very easy and streamlined. Overall, it was great. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is very spacious.The only 2 things that were concerning was 2 of the doorknobs kept sliding out of the doorknob holes. They weren't broken, just loose. It was concerning because I thought we broke it. The only other concern was that the 6th room is an outside room by the pool that needed a key. There weren't any instructions that this was the case so we actually only used 5 rooms the first 2 days which was hard because people were sleeping on the floor. The thought was that the other room was probably a storage until we found the key and tried it and it worked. Overall though, it was a great experience. We had a great time. The area is beautiful. We took a walk to the river and my family absolutely loved it and enjoyed it. I highly recommend River Ridge. It's about 20 minutes from a Walmart or any chain store but that wasn't as big a deal for us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was the best we have had in our 30 years at the Frio. The house had plenty of space inside and out. We loved the FULL kitchen outside (stove/Oven). There were plenty of tables inside and out for eating, playing games, and for those that still had to work some. The beds were so comfy and the bedrooms had plenty of beds.The outside area had a pool with a slide that our grandkids loved as well as the swing set and tetherball. Deer came up to the fence in the mornings and evenings. The location is close enough to the river access. It was a great house and we will be staying there again.

Reviewer Comments: Our group loved River Ridge and we’ve stayed at many house in Heartstone! Only thing was that it was our first year having sheets provided, which was awesome but they had a mildewy smell so not sure if they got stored before being fully dry or what. Other than that, it was amazing!

Stayed Apr 5, 2024Great property for a get-together. Six separate suites each with their own bathroom. A wonderful patio with fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pool. Very responsive management. Very happy with our stay.
