River House with heated Pool, Sunsets, Fishing, Dolphin & Manatee Watching

The amenities were plentiful and the home was neat and clean. Although, due to weather, we weren’t able to use the pool, it was also clean and the outside area was comfortable. Our host was welcoming and communicative regarding our stay.

This rental was absolutely fantastic. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their attention to details was fantastic. They provided a number of extras not provided by other owner operators. We have rented a number of properties and we view these owner operators as far superior than most. The home is lovely. It was exceptionally clean and nicely appointed. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. While we only used one bedroom during our stay, we found the bed to be comfortable. In addition, we appreciated this one level ranch home. The layout was very nice. The kitchen is nice. Everything is conveniently labeled by the owner operators. In addition, there were a number of spices and condiments available. We found this helpful and nice cost savings. The star, of this rental, is the private back yard. There is a beautiful poor, which is well maintained. There is a large screened in sitting area attached to the pool. Outside the screened in area, there is a beautiful fire pit, gas grill, and dock. We enjoyed this back yard most of all. As avid bird watchers, we enjoyed watching the variety of sea birds that visited this area. We can't wait to return to this rental.

The house was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the location on the river and the pool. The neighborhood was a little rundown, but we never felt unsafe. Lots of amenities for cooking. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Excellant Villa with excellant hosts. We have been home one week but enjoyed our stay so much that we have just rebooked for a further 3 weeks in the spring. The Villa is very well equipped and you will want for nothing. It is in a residential area and the neighbours are great, especially the dog who insists on her evening boat ride on the river. I would not want to suggest everything is always perfect

House is beautiful and fully equipped. Great location and the back yard feels like you're in a nature preserve. We saw a dolphin amd watched birds catch fish. Highly recommend this place!!

We had so much fun. The house was so cute. We absolutely fell in love with the record player and the whole atmosphere.

Really nice property. Clean home, had the essentials and more. Nice location, river view. I don’t review usually but this needs to be posted: 1. It states 2 kings 1 queen, there were 1 king 2 queens. 2. The owners offered to rent us their Kayaks for additional fee. 1 day before trip said the Kayaks were damaged and we couldn’t rent. It left us scrambling for Kayaks we paid hundreds more for the week. Also we saw the kayaks were there and fine. 3. There was an issue where long curtains fell behind a couch that was pushed to the window wall. When we sat on couch the curtain tension pulled the hook slightly out of the wall. We saw some wire on the rod so we weren’t the first to experience this I assumed. Anyway we let the owners know the hook was partially out and what happened when we sat down and get this- they accused us of “trying to conceal” the issue and try to charge us 150 for someone to go there and screw the rod hook back in. It clearly was already An issue. So we refuted the accusation as well as said hey we’re telling you we saw this and what happened. Then they came back saying they have photos before I stay. Great! I said I hope they are time stamped since we didn’t try to fix anything the wire was there, and no we’re not paying for something already broken. It’s a bummer before getting there and paying more for the kayaks then ending the vaca by doing the right thing and telling them about the Curtain & being accused of dishonesty and trying to be charged more.

The host was very nice & responsive to our questions. Very peaceful & friendly neighborhood. The weather was perfect & the pool was great. Loved watching all the different birds from the deck. Already planning on a return trip! Thank You!

Very nicely appointed and supplied home. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Ate most meals on the back deck enjoying the absolute solitude of the water flowing by and the occasional dolphin and manatee swimming by. We stayed at the house and only ventured out one day for lunch as we arrived one day before a tropical storm. We both loved this little piece of paradise and are already looking at booking again sometime next year.

We used to have a condo in the area so we were familiar with the location. The kids spent most of the trip in the pool. The beds were comfortable and we had everything that we needed.

Nothing to do but enjoy the stay! The host has thought of everything and provided all the finishing touches. The house was clean and comfortable in a nice quiet neighborhood where the people still wave and say hello. Okay, so it’s not on the beach, big deal. We did some day trips to Caladesi and Honeymoon islands and found some great local spots on the way (Sunset and Fred Howard Park beaches). And there are plenty of good eats nearby too. Turns out the highlight of the trip was in the backyard seeing the manatees and dolphins at dusk right off the dock while we swam in the pool. I highly recommend this home on the river for a relaxing place where you set your own pace.
