Stayed Oct 9, 2025We stayed with our extended family, ranging in age from 1 - 60. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy the property. The pool was quite cold (not heated) for the kids, next time we would bring their wetsuits if staying in spring. Inside, there was plenty of kitchenwares and a basic stock of kitchen supplies for us to be able to prepare our meals. There was a problem with the dishwasher and it did not work, I advised the host of this immediately and did not receive a reply until our checkout time, it was a shame that we had to hand wash all of our dishes for the duration of our stay. The bedrooms were nicely furnished and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. In future, I would suggest that the groundskeeper should get their work done before or after a stay as their onsite presence during our stay detracted from our experience (they were not attending to any urgent or critical maintenance). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Rivendell.

Stayed Apr 11, 2025The house is very well appointed and so thoughtfully presented for entertaining. We used all the spaces - even a quick ice bath in the pool was not as bad as we thought. wonderfully appointed kitchen and plenty of dining spaces, very comfortable beds with high quality linen and a fire pit :) And that view over the valley.

Stayed Mar 8, 2025Our family enjoyed our stay at Rivendell. Lots of space for our various age groups. Kids loved the outdoor spaces, pool and visiting the animals. Kitchen well stocked and comfortable beds. Loved the separate studio as well

Stayed Nov 4, 2024Rivendell Berry is nothing short of amazing! The 360 views are simply stunning! If you want nature, serenity, comfort with the option of only being a short trip into town with great cafes, restaurants, parks and shopping in the gorgeous historic town of Berry this property ticks all the boxes! Our children spent the whole time exploring and playing together in the large open spaces. Every detail has been made to ensure upmost comfort. Would love to come back here!

Stayed Feb 3, 2024We had a group of 10 people stay at this property and it was fantastic. A beautiful and well equipped house - we made great use of the pool. Lots of different options for outdoor seating with the most divine views from every aspect. It was so peaceful and relaxing that I only regret not staying for a full week.

Stayed Dec 1, 2023Rivendell is in an ideal location, providing the quietness of a country hideaway, yet close to townships if you need it. Beautiful views, lovely gardens, friendly furry, feathered and woolly neighbours, plenty of room for kids to run around, inviting swimming pool, fire pit for toasting marshmallows - what more could you ask for. Just about all the comforts of home were available. Couldn't fault it! Great hosts too! Would love to go back!
