'Ridgeline Retreat' w/ Mountain Lake Views!

Great location for a weekend getaway and a family holiday gathering. The layout of the house allowed everyone to have their own level for a little privacy while enjoying family meals and board games around the large rustic table. We loved hanging out by the fire, watching movies, and playing games in the game room. The house is well provisioned and immaculately clean including comfortable beds with fresh linens and fluffy towels. There is plenty to do in the area within a 10 minute drive and it’s so refreshing just to hang out in the mountain air relishing the lake view. The owner was great with communication and readily available for questions not just about the house but with recommendations to make the most of our time there. Truly a great experience and would recommend!

We had such a lovely time celebrating our son’s first Christmas Eve with family in this beautiful home. The home has a modern cabin aesthetic that keeps comfort and coziness at the forefront. The location was perfect for a quick drive to the snow and shaded strolls around the neighborhood. Frank had excellent communication and was a great host. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a wedding in the area and decided to rent this VRBO so we could all be together. The house is gorgeous. It has a light, modern feel and we were all comfortable (7 adults) and well entertained. Enjoyed playing some ping pong, driving to Lake Gregory, and eating breakfast at the dining table with gorgeous views. The owner was very kind and attentive. We appreciated his recommendations on restaurants (Try the Grill at Antlers Inn). In summary, great house, location, and amenities. We recommend!

Lovely home in the mountains a short drive to Lake Arrowhwad Village. Several good hiking trails are very close. Newly renovated house. Furniture seems quite new. Carpets/rugs were especially nice. Main level has 2 living room spaces, one with a TV and one with a fireplace. Both rooms have large windows which look across the mountain to the lake. One bedroom and one full bath is on this level just off the kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms with one bathroom. Downstairs is another bedroom and unique bathroom with a soaking tub. The game room on the lower level is accessible through the bedroom or from the outside. This space was much colder than the rest of the house but space heaters are provided to warm it up. The bedrooms are good size, beds are comfortable and linens are in good shape. All linens and towels are provided. Only one hairdryer for all 3 bathrooms. Kitchen had the basic cookware and utensils. Plenty of dishes and silverware. There is a coffee pot with a gold filter, a milk frother, toaster/oven, gas stove and frig with ice maker. Kitchen knives were available, but not particularly sharp. Plenty of glasses and wine glasses. Generous sized kitchen table with six chairs. Placements for the table. Left behind by previous guests were salt and pepper, a few spices, coffee and sugar. Also plastic wrap, foil, and garbage bags. Under the sink was plenty of dishsoap and dishwasher soap. Some cleaning products too. There was plenty of firewood and firestarter logs to use. The deck has outdoor seating, a gas firepit, patio table/chairs, and a gas grill. There was even a spare tank of propane gas. The neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed the house very much. The owner checked in with us a couple times and sent restaurant suggestions. Good space for our family trip at Christmas.

This is a beautiful home with many rooms for all ages. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding area. We reserved this home to celebrate Christmas and we were not disappointed. Frank was communicative regarding the check-in process and was able to answer all my questions in a timely manner. He was also very flexible with our arrival times and made the entire check-in and check-out process a breeze. The living room is very stylish with comfy furniture and a lovely fireplace, which we spent most of our weekend huddled around. Wood was readily accessible along with convenient kindling wood to help start the fire. We enjoyed a clean grill outside to cook Korean barbecue and the dining room table was spacious enough for our whole family. The deck has a beautiful view of the surrounding area and lake, with a clear view of the stars at night (we saw Mars and Jupiter!). Each room had very comfortable beds, making it very difficult for us to get up in the morning. All bathrooms were clean with the master bathroom featuring a luxurious tub for soaking. The gameroom had plenty of board games, an arcade system, and a ping pong table we all had fun using. Lake Arrowhead Village was also close by and nice hiking trail by Lake Gregory which our family completed. The area was very nice with many activities for us to do. Frank was a great responsive host and we would definitely reserve this home again.

I take my daughters and granddaughter to Arrowhead twice a year. This year the Ridgeline Retreat was a great experience for all of us. Plenty of room for all of us, game room, deck with heater and fire pit. We watched movies in the evening on the couch and chairs which was relaxing and the beds were so comfortable to sleep in. This was a relaxing trip for all of us

This is a beautiful home, very clean and spacious. The view from the back deck is amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were all so comfortable. It exceeded all of our expectations.

Where do I start...the home is interior designed with beautiful finishes. I love the light fixtures, the large dining table and the beautiful kitchen, but wait until you get ready for bed. The linen is organic and the mattress is so comfortable. I found a tag for the pillows and ordered them for my home before I left. The deck is serene with views and fantastic bird watching. We had everything we needed. My friends and I will be returning in the winter. I am so happy to have found this property. It is 1 1/2 hour drive to paradise.

’The Ridgeline Retreat’ delivered in all ways. As a professional architectural photographer I really care when the homeowner pays particular attention to detail. At Ridgeline Retreat, the interiors are downright stunning and so are the views. We loved the comfortable sofas and super upscale decor and vibe, and at the same time everything was so comfortable . We cooked in the kitchen (all new appliances) and even used the grill outside. We enjoyed the fire-pit and the lovely views of the mountainside and the lake below. The house has high ceilings, which made it feel even loftier and bigger than the pix. My partner took a bath in the deep tub, and raved. We all played ping pong, enjoyed the decked out game room. Beds super comfortable, bedding high-end and soft. Each and every detail: lighting, furniture, amenities, etc, are thoughtfully executed making for a 5-start stay for our family. Neighborhood calm and lovely. Can’t wait to come back.

Wow! Love this place! This was the perfect getaway. What a difference 2 hours outside the city makes. Beautiful decor, quality comfortable mattresses, romantic fireplace and fire pit! Weather was sunny & warm, cool nights. Took a 1 1/2 hr hike at Will Abell trail about 10 min away and enjoyed total wilderness. Everything is super clean and new and comfy. Thank you to Frank, the owner, for all the info in the welcome book and making this place feel like a highly loved home, not just a rental. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and was able to sleep in. The kids LOVED the game room, spent most of their time there. Love the classic board games. The best part of our stay was creating fun, old-fashioned memories with the whole family (no electronics needed!) Can't wait to come back, hopefully will see snow next time! Thank you!
