We really enjoyed sitting on the porch. We appreciated the many extras available in the kitchen. The owners seem to be laid back which made for a relaxing stay.

Super clean house, every room was beautiful and smelled so clean. The area felt safe and you are close to tons of stores and restaurants. The host was very nice and friendly. Pet friendly for sure, they even have a dog bed and bowls. The host even had snacks and breakfast foods and drinks. The old charm of the house was so cozy.

Beautiful and charming home very close to downtown Richmond and the interstate, Only 20 minutes from Lexington. Home has very thoughtful touches and many amenities. We were invited to enjoy drinks and waters in the fridge which was so appreciated, Beds were extremely supportive and comfortable. Furniture is well kept and beautiful. Home was very clean and comfy. We appreciated that we could take our 17 year old dog who needs daily meds. He loved sitting on the porch in the breeze. Will definitely visit again.

I was skeptical of a perfect rating by over 100 guests. Not anymore . I added my own perfect rating. Why? Because of over the top touches. We were in town for a wedding. Hadn't brought groceries and after so many hours in a car, didn't want to go back out. Delighted to find many breakfast choices awaiting us. The house is darling, and the side porch a real.delight.

We were pleasantly surprised when they shoveled the snow--so very kind. Great place to stay. Very accommodating.

Everything about the host and this beautiful house was absolutely perfect!! We enjoyed the house, and the area had may things to do for all different types of people (activities). We went there simply for a graduation at EKU and ended up falling in love with the area!!

It is so refreshing and wonderful when you book a place and find it to be above your expectations. This home was fantastic. An older home with personality and flair and an owner who obviously wants their guests to be satisfied. The beds were both very comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water and plenty of pressure, the toilet paper and paper towels were not your typical see-through tissue that has begun to be the norm in many rentals. Floor and ceiling fans in both rooms, plenty of towels and no notes telling how much you would expect to pay if you stained one! How unusual! This host also leaves snacks and extra water, plenty of coffee (both regular and decaf) filters, sugar and even milk in the fridge. It’s thrilling to find an actual coffee pot instead of a Keurig, as I tend to drink more than one cup and generally run out in the other places I’ve stayed. The side porch is a sweet little oasis and there’s even a porch swing. I stayed the first two nights alone and felt completely safe and comfortable. This isn’t the most beautiful, swanky or most modern place I’ve stayed in, but is now truly one of my favorites. This host just does so many lovely things to make their guests feel special. The home was a short distance away from EKU’s Gifford Theater (the reason for our trip) and we had no issues with the driveway or parking. Highly recommended.

Wonderful home. It comfy and very clean. We absolutely loved our stay. We can from Wisconsin to bring my youngest son to EKU. Its close to everything. Seriously feltt like home.

Check in was easy with excellent communication. Home is very clean and beautiful and location was perfect for my visit.

Beautiful older home, well maintained, had everything you could possibly need. Only problem I had was the size of my vehicle, the driveway wasn't made for a 1 ton long bed truck. We managed. Thank you.

House had everything we needed the three of us were each able to sew a quilt top. We set up our machines in dining room and sewed to our heart’s content.

Very quaint, home away from home. Owner has attention to detail. All the little extras makes the difference. We felt very comfortable from the minute we walked in. We will be back!

The house was clean, had snacks in case guests arrived late and needed food, and the host communicated the check in process very well. We were pleased with our stay. We left a bag of sweets out overnight and were greeted with ants the next morning, but that was our fault. We kept everything in the fridge after that and had no other issues. The street is busy, but we enjoyed an evening relaxing on the porch.

It was a wonderful experience. The home was very cozy for it being an older home. Downtown was beautiful and Buc-ee’s was fun. There was lots to do and see. Thank you for the drinks and snacks, it was greatly appreciated.

Really nice property near a lot of neat stuff. Will definitely try to stay here again on our future trips.

Overall, the place is very clean.Very nice.Great neighborhood around multiple multiple places that eat lots of family entertainment to do with things like horse.Racing ,casinos, museums the histories

Nice place home away from home. Would recommend to family and friends communication with Mr. Chandler was excellent. This was better than a hotel experience would stay here again

Very nice older home. Extremely quiet nice neighborhood. Host was excellent.

Along with the wonderful weather and the charming shops and restaurants along Main Street our host went above and beyond with his southern hospitality. Communication was great and all of the extras he offered were a welcome surprise. The house is well maintained and we enjoyed having our morning coffee on the porch swing. We hope the secret does not get out so it is available for our next stay in Richmond.
